I’d disagree on the redshirt. They could use him this year. Pressing teams have given them problems.

And, if he’s as good as we all think he is, he’s probably not staying for the full eligibility.

He’s more valuable to them this year, with this team, then 3 years from now.

Plummer can't handle the ball or pass the way Curbelo can, but he has been such a good addition as a scorer and someone who can get open.

Not if he's struggling with post concussion symptoms. If he's in and out of the lineup the rest of the year, what's the point? What version are you going to get? I'm not sure he'd agree to a redshirt anyway.

If what I saw earlier in the year was NOT due to the concussion, I'd disagree on how long he stays. Well, I should say that if he leaves early, it would be a mistake. If it was because of the concussion, let's see him healthy, if he can get back to 100% health.

I don’t disagree with any of that.

I’m saying he was clearly messed up early in the year in hindsight knowing what we know.

If they are getting him to 100% for 15 games, play him.

My hope is that Purdue players were watching the gutty performance by Northwestern and they are inspired to pull off an even more shocking upset by beating Illinois.

What a scrappy comeback by the Illini.

I guess we don't need to worry about how Curbelo will fit back in.

This has been a great game. Curbelo looked to be pressing to do too much in that OT. He can't beat them by himself.

Nah. It was a great game. Lot of good stuff for the Illini in that game. Maybe found a new front court contributor.

Verdonk is dumb af, but he did more than simply fill in today. Look forward to seeing him get some more time.

The real winner here was Stephen Bardo. This guy is great.

Talk about omitting the key details.

You don't get to my position in life without omitting key details.

I got my first job by answering the question "Do you have computer skills?"...with "I took programming in college".

It's all true to this point.

I took PASCAL programming. They needed me to use Lotus 1-2-3 (yeah, yeah...I'm old).

Never used Lotus prior to that. I took the PASCAL class.

Taught myself Lotus on the job and excelled because I'm Dr. Ken.

Taught myself WYSIWYG as a bonus on the job just cause I'm Dr. Ken and that how I roll.

And now you all have to deal with me.

Go Illini!!

UofI teaches you how to learn on the fly - use your deductive skills.

We’re you a couple of years too young for the PLATO computers? I also took useless programming in Champaign. I bought a mail-order VHS tape to learn Lotus. Interestingly, many of the original commands (like formatting cells) still work in Excel.

I didn't like the PLATO computers because they had those god awful orange screens and were way the hell at the north end of the campus in a shack. But they had games and the stupid CDC mainframes in the dorms did not.

My last month there, a friend of mine in Computer Engineering showed a couple of us this insane thing where he was trading messages from a mainframe terminal with somebody at some east coast university. We thought he was bullshitting us, but it was the early version of what eventually became IRC.

Of course, I am old enough to remember the ! and % in some email addresses.

They didn't. Our centers only scored 34 combined against All American Kofi. Maybe they get to 40 if Kofi stays in the game though.

Let's keep the focus on why some of us are off today, boys. People like MLK Jr., MLK III (the chunky one), and Rachel Dolezal have given us many reasons to celebrate today with positivity.
