So...I was skipping through the webio show today and caught him reading another knob sucking email. Anyway, at the end of the email it said "glad you went back to your roots and talking sports again". Mike stopped the show and explained if all he did was talk about sports, he wouldnt be were he was today....ok, that was funny, thinking same thing. But I went back to the other emailer from a earlier show that said the same "roots" and "talking only sports" comment.

Anyway, this seems to piss pappy off and while i would never suggest to send him a email with "back to your roots" and "talking about sports" in it, thats just something that seems beneath most of us.

Oh-by-the-way.....http://www.northtonorth.com/pages/mike.php

I sent this in Vann. Let me know if he talks about it tomorrow.

Mike, listened to some of your Webcast. You need to get back to your roots and talk sports. That is what made you. You failed miserably when you tried to spray to all fields. You are not well informed enough to talk about anything of importance. You were a good listen when you talked sports. Stick to what you know and maybe you can get a job that pays again.

Is Mike Hunt a pseudonym of some significance, like Mark Twain?

Good stuff, I will let you know.

I find it mind boggling that he thinks he reach limited fame on anything except talking sports. I truly believe in his mind, he is some type of political genius and people really want to hear his opinion on that stuff.

By the way, even though prez. dumbshit said the economy is in danger, pappy still thinks it alot to do about nothing.

That's why I don't read Twain, cause it's garbage! I'm a man and I'm forty! They say Huckelberry Finn is a metaphor for early America...it ain't true! Some day when your kid is old enough to read Tom Sawyer, and he doesn't want to and his teacher belittles him and bedowngrades him...just remember

Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

Mike,

Glad to see you getting back to the basics and the fundamentals. Your talking about sports again has been enjoyable to hear; its like watching a team during BP get back to the basics; or a defensive line hitting the sled and working on leg drills.

I do have a bit of advice, though. I don't know why you would waste another second talking about billboards or radio management or ratings systems. That's the past, man. I wouldn't talk about Danny Mac or anyone else in the radio business anymore either; as you've taken the next leap forward.

To rise above them, you have to carry yourself as if they no longer exist. You yourself have said that this (web based broadcast) is the way of the future; you shouldn't look to the past anymore. Why go there anymore?

Anyways; glad to hear you back on topic and talking Chicago sports finally.

Good luck and see you down the road.

The Frontman
