Last season was important for Barkley in that he made it through unscathed with no setbacks to his injury. I would expect him to be much improved next year and running with more confidence BUT I still don't think he will ever be what he was pre-injury. I hope i'm wrong. A completely over-hauled o-line and a new game plan might improve his chances. I really liked Booker, he ran unbelievably hard through non-existent holes.

Booker looked like the much better back both statistically and with the eye test.

Vikings having 2nd interviews this week with Raheem Morris, Rams DC, DeMeco Ryans, 49ers DC and Kevin O'Connell, Rams OC. Not sure if it's true, but I read that Vikings ownership had committed to Goodell that they would fill both GM and Head Coach positions with minority candidates. I'd prefer Ryans, but Morris would be a good choice as well. Nothing new on Harbaugh that I've seen.

Jacksonville seems like a complete mess.

Leftwich, and possibly other HC candidates as well, removed themselves from consideration because they refused to work with Baalke. Meanwhile, Shad Khan has reportedly been asking candidates if they can work with Baalke in Baalke's presence, creating an incredibly awkward interview dynamic and likely forcing interviewees to be at least somewhat disingenuous in their responses. Even as Khan appears to be forcing candidates into committing themselves to working with Baalke, Khan is also conducting a search for a president of football operations who will likely want to fire Baalke upon assuming his position--that is, unless Khan is telling candidates that such a move will not be allowed. It's no wonder, then, that Jacksonville appears to have hired its fourth or fifth choice for coach (after Leftwich, Eberfllus, Hackett, and Bowles) more than a month after they initially interviewed him. This doesn't mean Pederson won't do a good job as coach, but he has chosen to work for a highly dysfunctional organization. Speaking of dysfunctional, I wonder if Matt Nagy will now follow Pederson to Jacksonville as offensive coordinator.
