Remember reading about Blago's typical workday when he was governor, get to the office at around 10 AM, do an hour or two of work, head off to a long lunch, do another hour or two of work, and then head out at around 3 PM, the guy was basically a figurehead that did absolutely nothing.

Was amazing to see someone actually publish a story detailing his lack of work ethic because you rarely see anything negative written about the daily activities of politicians, but I suspect this is likely fairly standard with most politicians.

Honestly the less a politician works, the happier I am.

I wish they all still took like 7 months off to travel by foot back to some cabin to prepare for winter.

1. He did get his name on the iPass sign.
2. Whatever slacker work Rod did it's probably a lot compared to the little work Joe Biden does every day as president. So it's probably just like what De Blasio did.
3. Blago is just as corrupt as almost all Democrats and probably half of the Republicans (Who is left who doesn't trade stocks, get money for China, enrich their families or take campaign money from corrupt individuals?). Blago's sin was being brazen about his corruption. Even Joe Biden just denies he didn't know anything about his son's business dealings even when it's obvious he was getting a cut. So Blago was just foolish and careless and it's very rare a Democrat screws up enough that the Democrats won't protect him.

Never trust a politician who has the time to train for marathons.
