Keyser knew baseball obviously, but he had his guys that he was high on and would forgive no matter what.

 I totally own that one. But no one is painting me as the Board's resident baseball expert. In fact, many consider me a crackpot.

 I forgot about his Matt Davidson love.

Keyser also had his guys that he hated and would not forgive no matter what. He hated Nick Madrigal just because he was short. Never mentioned anything about his swing or why he would never be able to hit at the MLB level, just that he was short.

But its my fault he's gone

So you're suggesting that it's more likely Keyser left the board because he had bad baseball opinions than because you stalked him for 2-3 years?

First off, LTG's version of "stalk" is inherently different than what stalking truly is. I replied to Keyser a lot in the Sox section calling out when he was flat wrong. He would get credit when it was deserved. I wasn't the only Sox fan regular who did this. Jorr and Peeps would get on him as well. Specifically I remember Keyser being high on Addison Reed as part of the Sox bullpen and he nailed that. The guy did know baseball, but as Peeps pointed out he had guys that he loved and could do no wrong. Keyser thought Ventura was a good manager. I remember even Cubs fans would call him out for this. MANY, including myself, would welcome him back with open arms. More Sox fans more better IMO.

Its plausible I was part of the reason he left the board. Despite what Vaxed Bob and ltg erroneously state, I am certain that I am not the only reason he left the board

The Missing Link has 18 posts in the White Sox section, and none since August. Not even a post during their playoff series. Out of 31,000 posts, long time guy had 72 posts in the Sox section. Say whatever you want about ltg/link, he is not the type of guy who just reads things and doesn't reply when he see something-- or someone-- he disagrees with.

This is revisionist though I'm not particularly surprised given the source or his "supporters" around here.
This wasn't merely a simple disagreement about whether the starting 3rd Basement for the Barrington Barons was the second coming of Mike Schmidt.
Ballpark Frank personally attacked the guy for at least 2 years nearly each and every time the guy provided a thought about something. It was clear that the guy did not wish to respond to him.
I can't recall one instance where anyone called Frank out on his bullshit as he proceeded to "shit" up the section either.

Oh yeah I know "no one is required to call anyone out around here about anything" and all that jazz but the very same people who give jerks like this a pass no matter what will be the first ones trying to torpedoe other people who they claim are "shitting up their board experience" all of the time.
It's clear that Ballpark Frank "hated" the guy because he knew more about baseball than him. Nothing more and nothing less.

Goodfella was a good poster. I enjoyed his work. Hope he is ok. i remember he was having health issues.

312player has not posted in a while too. He was a very good poster. I've said many times like my CFMB twin. Except he likes dogs.

Proclaiming that the 3rd Basement for the team's Double A farm team will be called up to the majors soon is the sort of "analysis" (Tim McCarver) that you just won't find anywhere else but here . Ballpark Frank provides yet another in a long line of astute observations around here.

The White Sox do not employ basements on the field. Neither do their farm teams. The White Sox do not have a farm team in Barrington.

I tend to agree with LTG that Frank is presenting a revisionist history of his interactions with Keyser. But I also don't think it matters that much. I don't think board stalking is the worst thing in the world, and sometimes it can even be quite hilarious. Additionally, there are several particularly egregious assholes on the board who could use a good stalking every now and then. With regards to Keyser, though, I found Frank's choice of targets rather odd since Keyser was one of the board's most innocuous and laid back posters.

The response to stalking also isn't the worst thing in the world either. Not that you are one of the people that complains about it.

No one has to be subjected to that bullshit if they don't want to.

So was Telegram Sam. So was Chus. And so was Matches Malone. Matches was a good hoops dude and also knew his old school hip hop as well.
