Alright Shakes drop some knowledge on us.

Who are the final four teams? Who can win it all this year?

We know you hate the big 10 so no need to go there.

I really like Baylor and Arizona, and as much as it pains me to say it Kentucky

Didn't Noisewater predict that the Illini will make a "deep run" in the tournament? :lol:

I think Kentucky is winning it all. Duke and Arizona losing early. Gonzaga is going to lose to the first top 4 seed they play.

Purdue hasn't played well in a month so anything once they get to the Sweet Sixteen is going to be tough.

It would be awesome if Duke got knocked out in the first round. What a great sendoff for Ratface that would be!

If he and Baylor got flushed on weekend one it'd be great

I don't recall ever saying anything like that.

But, if it brightens your Monday....

I predict the Illini make a "deep run" in the tournament if their 3-point shooting holds up.

haven't seen as much ball as I would like this year, but I also like Kentucky. If their guards stay healthy which has been an issue this year.

Arizona is great, but I need to see more of them. too many late games.

Gonzaga could run into the same problem as last year once they face up with a really talented and athletic team.

Baylor is tough to read because they've had so many injuries the last month, but Akinjo appears to finally be healthy and looking good.

Don't like Kansas.

Fuck Duke.

All Big 10 teams suck until they prove otherwise in March.

UCLA could go on another run.

This year is more wide open than ever.

Kentucky has to be the “smart choice” and they’re 7-1 to win I think right now which is a decent value but like shakes said it is really wide open.

oh wait, forgot about Auburn. Auburn is interesting. On paper they look like they should or at least could win it all, but my only concern is the shot selection of their guards. They have a legit stud on that team in Jabari Smith who should be touching the ball on pretty much every offensive possession, yet sometimes they forget he is tghere as the guards get into a game of HORSE.

Tennessee another interesting team. They are hot, but most of their good wins were at home.

Not buying Villanova this year.

Looking forward to seeing what small team makes some noise. Maybe San Diego State? They have a great guard and are playing really well.

Auburn is a one-man team. They’ve lost a few games where Jabari was contained and they had no other answer. I see them losing in an upset against a hungrier team.

You don't always have to be brave to make an accurate prediction.

You don't always have to be brave to make an accurate prediction.

Take out the "if" and you got yourself a prediction.

If Loyola hits their general shooting averages, they will not make a deep run.

Is that a prediction?

none of that is true. The 3 games they lost in conferecne he was the leading scorer in all 3 with 20, 28 and 27 points.

They have other players who can score, but they're not as good as Jabari.

Yeah because they’re a…one man team, shakes. He scored almost half their points against Florida and they still lost. Contained is a relative term, it means he can be isolated and the team can be beaten.

I see what you're saying. You shouldn't have written "contained". To me that means they held a guy in check which clearly didn't happen. You should've wrote that Auburn is a team where you can just let Jabari get his and put all your focus into stopping the other 4 guys on the court.

Touché. I do see Kentucky making a deeper run as far as SEC teams go. And I agree about Nova. Toss em.

I'm sitting here watching the Big East Tournament with one eye on the crawl, and it seems like every second conference tournament is in Las Vegas. I looked it up, and the following tournaments are taking place in Vegas this week:

Big West;
Pac 12;
West Coast Conference ;
Western Athletic Conference; and
Mountain West.

I could see Texas Tech surprising people, final four or better. Might toss a few bucks on em to win it all with very high odds. Depends on how their bracket looks.

3 games in 3 days for a&m after florida & auburn?? hmmm. going to play arkansas and the under. should split at worst, can't see a&m out-running the hogs in a scoring frenzy.

played the hogs last week in tenn. looked bad for 3/4 of the game and then the hogs woke up and nearly won. been a good team for me.

Guys , check out Coppin St. playing Norfolk State in the MEAC title game to get into the NCAA. Down only 24-20 at halftime.

They are 9-22 on the season and have a chance to punch their ticket. Tune in. This is hilarious!

very disappointing preformance from arkansas...yet another game where they come out very slow - and no way they could muster anything to comeback. musselman was going ape-shit on the bench after a 40 second display of 3 turnovers and 3 a&m subsequent lay-ups and dunks off those turnovers. those 3 consecutive turnovers occurred after arkansas cut the lead to 5, i believe. game went over, the vaunted defense of arkansas quit in the 2nd half.

may make a small play on tenn today, a&m with 4 games in 4 days. against florida/auburn/arkansas and now tenn. jeez, can they do it again?

only 3 teams worth anything in houston, memphis and smu's conference. i like houston today as revenge for getting whipped in memphis last sunday. memphis st. putting stuff together after all the injuries, could make a run in the ncaa tournament.

the richmond spiders have been good to me this year, but, i'm going to take davidson. just too big for richmond.
