Too bad. It really should be done at the end of Feb.

And for what it's worth, DST day is my favorite Holiday.

no it shouldnt. It should be moved back to April.

There was no reason to change it.

No, it should be in March, and then once we do it this year, never change the clocks again. If it's dark at 7am in December, so what. Give the extra light during a time of day when everyone can use it.

It would be dark until 8:20 AM. Changing the clocks is fine, but it should be a bare minimal amount of days. I suggest mid Nov to mid Feb.

Today the sun rose at 6:25 AM. That's stupid.

I agree that changing clocks is kind of stupid in the first place but I think our perspective on it is a bit weird being that we're on the far eastern limit of the time zone. That sun rose at 0725 just a couple miles further east.

Truth. It's a bit of a mindfuck when we visit the in-laws and it's getting dark at like 10:00 at night in the summer.

It's not about it being a chore (although when the time change rules changed something like 15 years ago I had to rewrite a ridiculous amount of code for something so seemingly simple). I'm saying why flip back and forth between standard and saving time. Just leave it on saving time.

if you have to use "it's getting dark, we'd better go" to escape the in-laws you've gotta firm up your pimphand anyways.

When I was in Omaha, it was unsettling for that to happen.

I'm used to it now. When my wife and I were first dating, we'd go over there, and it threw off my whole day for some strange reason.

Because I want it light out before 9AM during those 90 days or so. To me, that would be more depressing than it getting dark at 4PM.

Ok. We'll do it for your feelers.
It's a weird thing but the Monday after the time changes are massive increases in heart attacks and traffic accidents.

Our bodies have evolved over thousands of years to the seasonal changes to the hours of daylight and we've developed certain circadian rhythms as a result.

But whatever. It really doesn't make much difference to me once the change is made.

I haven't spent time in Omaha. Just Lincoln and a horrid place that should be nuked called Big Springs. Our hotel smelled like dead hooker vagina (before you ask I had gotten a detailed description from beardown) and it was kind of town where the air has a faint cat urine smell from the rampant methamphetamine cooking, which I can only assume based on the general dental state of the town, was their main industry.

Darkness in the morning has never been a problem for me. darkness in the middle of the afternoon is a bummer. Seasonal depression doesn’t happen in the spring and summer.

Circadian rhythms is a strong argument as opposed to my feelers. Kudos.

what's the deal with champagne on tap or draft champagne or whatever it's called. only places i've seen that is in Omaha/Lincoln and bars in other towns run by people from Omaha or Lincoln. Omaha used to have midnight last call or something absurdly early. Maybe everyone day drinks there all the time and that's why they drink cheap champagne by the pitcher.

Per manufacturer we spin our mattress every three months.

But twice a year also need to change batteries in keyless door locks.
