NW nipped Nebraska 71-69

PSU beat Minny 60-51.

These are basically play-in games to the real tournament of 12. They dont play 5 vs 16, 6 vs 15, etc.

The bottom 4 seeds play each other to see who plays in the 5 vs 12 and 6 vs 11 games.

Interestin'.

I've never watched college conference tournaments. Start watching when the NCAA tournament starts.

opportunities for investments.

looking at mich st. and ohio st tonight. disappointing 2nd half of the season for each..they can make some amends in this tournament. best for michigan st to play at a neutral site with tom izzo and penn st. has been doing recent cover magic with smoke and mirrors.

Man what a 2nd half for IU. They looked dead in the 1st half. Keep their small hope alive of making the tournament.

illini playing the early game today...leaning towards indiana with teaser points. will prob combine them with auburn.

i'm thinking the game will be likely lower scoring than michigan x indiana...game is more of a home game for indiana. they definitely have motivation as a bubble team, if not some momentum. saw the illini sleep walk last week in a 5 point win at home against a sleepier penn st.

more confident of iowa blitzing rutgers later on today.

I will take it.

Xavier Johnson has to stop trying to go 1 on 4

IU and the Illini have pretty much the same guard. Xavier and Curbelo both will do some really good things and really stupid things. And they are trying to one up each other in this game.

Been a fun watch.

If you're teasing college basketball, you're a total square.

Somehow they survived several dumb decisions down the stretch.

TJD was a man today

Congrats, RFDC. Couldn't watch the game but I'll assume things didn't go the way I would have liked.

Maybe we can add another B10 school to the Dance to piss shakes off.

Hopefully Grandison can play in the post-season and UofI can make a "deep run"...as the kids say.

So the best team loses on the first day and the end result will be adding another Big10 team to the NCAA's (which will then, in turn, lose on the first day)

This is a bizarre comment

There really is no "best" team in the Big 10 this year. There are like 4-5 teams that are pretty solid but vulnerable on any given night.

And you have no clue if Indiana loses on the first day. They are capable of winning a couple games or getting blown out in game 1. You just never know.

But either way the Big 10 tournament is always fun. I am enjoying a snow day from school while taking in all the games.

if you say so...played indiana and the under straight up, as mentioned prior to the game. got them both. teased auburn with fordham, lost the teaser play due to texas a&m playing fantastically. took iowa straight up, and then teased iowa with 2 other plays. we'll see.

- for the record..teased iowa with uab and st. louis. also, go houston cougars.

So, I typed in something snide but rethought and deleted it...actually the Big 10 is quite solid this year going into the tourney...I'm a mid major backer and hate that quality teams from there get sacrificed on the altar of the Big conferences...but I would tend to agree with you this year on the Big 10...

Nonetheless, they will disappoint you, that I can assure.

...And who the hell has a "snow day" anymore...don't you zoom?

 Someone who teaches in a rural school district that still has a significant % of the student body that does not have adequate enough internet at their home to be able to zoom.

It is kinda nice to still have some snow days, especially today since it means we have a little extended spring break. 8)

Hard to believe NOBODY mentioned PSU's upset over OSU last night.

That was impressive.
