I heard a couple different female announcers this weekend. Candace Parker was on the post game panel. Some company was doing an equality for women's sports thing. Progress july!!!

They have equality. At great expense. What they don't have is equity. That would be forcing ESPN to have a womens' sports channel.

I noticed that the women’s NCAA games are on the various ESPN properties. Those channels are probably more widely available than the “Tru TV” channel I was watching some of the men’s games on.

The problem isn’t equality, it’s just an inferior product that most people don’t want to consume.

i agree. espn would rather show the inferior product than NIT games/post season tournament in florida. i suppose if vegas ever slaps lines on the women's product, interest would get a bump.
