It’s always weird to watch the tourney and realize how bad college shooting can be. Even guys on the blue bloods just throw up horrific bricks on a routine basis.

Every year I get excited for the Tournament, start watching it, and quickly reach the conclusion "Christ! This shit is awful," in large part because of the shooting. But, the shooting and the level of play tend to pick up substantially in the round of 16 and the round of 8. That second weekend is actually my favorite weekend of the Tournament.

Creighton’s a fun team. They’re like the anti-Illini.

I almost always pull for Big 10 teams in bowl games and the tourney. There are exceptions—sometimes WI and MI fans annoy me enough to go against them.

But I have Purdue winning my bracket, so I’m on the train as well.

I love giving Doc and Brick crap around here, but I really do want the Big 10 teams to win, especially in years where you have shakes saying the big 10 is worthless.

I've traditionally always rooted for B10 if they weren't playing a team I liked.

With the exception of Indiana and Iowa but I've softened my stance on them as I have gotten older.
