It has taken me a while to figure out what I like. Too much indica makes me paranoid and if I am a little tired, it will put me to sleep instantly. I'll take a half an indica gummy if I want to get to sleep and am a little anxious. Sativa gummies give me the best feeling. I love watching sports, listening to music, eating, and showering, after 1 and a half sativa gummies. It makes everything feel better especially sex and everything is funnier. And while I take the same amount every time sometimes the high is more or less intense. Makes me wonder if the pot consistency is the same in every gummy. But the absolute best thing about the gummies is that I am not hungover in the morning. Even on the nights I got rocked, I still feel good in the morning. I might be a little groggy but after a cup of coffee or two, I am fine. And I'm waking up at 4:30 in the morning, going to work, and feeling great. For me there is no comparison between having some gummies versus having a few drinks. Wish I could of gotten these over the last 20 years.
Always interesting to discuss drug absorption via oral routes vs IV/inhalation, but drugs taken orally do generally have a longer lasting impact but less intense impact that when taken via IV/inhalation. Of course people with compromised systems, especially Oncology patients, that cannot process drugs via oral routes benefit immensely from inhaled weed, it seems cruel that we cannot provide that to them when they are hospitalized.
This also points out the danger in using street drugs because you have no idea of how much of the desired agent the drug contains, in controlled environments where we are continually monitoring SPO2, HR, and BP with Naloxone readily available we will use Fentanyl is microgram doses, on the street with no controls you may get nearly a milligram which will put almost everyone into respiratory distress immediately.
