It won't be next year and that is all I care about with the recruiting class he has coming in. Looking at him further, he was a Head Coach in the NBA and fired and really the only other Head job he has had was Nevada, and of course you are leaving Nevada for an SEC job.

Just picked up another 5 Star last night, the beat rolls on.

So who's the high roller down there or is it a consortium? How does RightBelowkansas get the #2 class?

Arkansas also has a very strong N.I.L. program set up for its athletes.

Both of them?

another good college day...too bad, no one wants to talk march spreads and over/unders. a scruggs-less xavier in the driver's seat from minute 1 and a&m too strong and too big for wash st.

a few games on thursday...fresno st plays at coastal carolina in the 'basketball classic' championship and the nit final; texas a&m x xavier. still some college action left.

The lines are kind of big on all the games at 4+.

How is Villanova going to keep up playing only five guys. If I were Kansas I'd start by just feeding McCormick and getting Nova in foul trouble.

an even more relevant question after the villanova guard's injury the other day. villanova was my pick to win everything, i'm leaning kansas now, will prob play kansas.

duke x n.c. i feel that north carolina is playing over their heads...duke has had the sterner tests (texas tech and arkansas) to get to the same place and i definitely would pick coach k over h. davis in a final 4 game.

likely to play kansas and duke.

With that injury I think Nova is prob the least likely of the 4 teams to win it all.

So that probably means they will win it all

yeah, that's how it works sometimes.

have felt that their coach is a psych guru. villanova is almost never freaked out by anything. playing on the road, hostile arenas and gyms, foul troubles, down big early. these guys are like machines. i guess even a machine has an achilles tendon.

I'm a huge Jay Wright fan. Runs a good system - always successful and always seems to be in control.

That being said - have to agree - you lose on of your 6 players - you are going to need one of your bench guys to step up big and Kansas isn't a team that I'd be looking to get a guy's feet wet.

leaning towards fresno st. and the over. pretty sure i will take xavier and the points in the NIT final - if do, in a teaser.

will likely play the over in fresno st and xavier in a teaser.

With the portal, it really is becoming more and more like fantasy basketball, where coaches can draft a new team every season. Saw a tweet this morning that there are currently 1,025 D1 BBall players in the portal. There are 358 D1 Bball teams.

I really like a and m. No one has come close to them in the NIT and I don't see a depleted X doing it today.

They have gone way too far with the portal. The portal is a good idea in theory but they need to adjust some things with it. Everyone should not be able to just jump in and out of the portal whenever the mood strikes them.

I do agree, but the one thing I like is the parity that it has created.

i understand, have also seen it from a&m.

but, 5 points, more or less, plus teaser points...add in the fact that a&m does struggle at times offensively....a&m would need to hold xavier to 45 points to have no real shot of winning a xavier play (with additional teaser points).

not sure what happened with the fresno st x coastal carolina game...looks like it has been moved to friday - probably should have originally been scheduled for friday anyways. why compete at the same time as the NIT final.

speaking of which, congrats to xavier. a great 2nd half and even better final 2 minutes. heart-breaking finish for the aggies.

i did play xavier, unfortunately for me, no over in the fresno st game to play a teaser. instead, i played xavier with the philly 76ers. i guess i'm one of those who figured that embiid and harden together - lights out. in the past few weeks, philly has failed to cover away to orlando, home to denver, home to milwaukee (i won, thanks to teaser points) and now lose to a great ATS 20-56 detroit team. they have to win that game. if philly is any kind of a serious team, they need to win that. i will be very leery of playing philly now.

to make matters worse, i chased the 360 i lost on the teaser with a 4 unit play on utah (-13 1/2). let's see...utah up 18 with 90 seconds left...laker 3 by d.j. augustine, utah turnover, laker miss, utah misses 2 free throws (one is an air ball), laker bucket and the back-door cover is on. God bless the jazz scrubs. they suck worse than the laker scrubs.

still a good week...will be gun-shy tomorrow - especially in the nba.

I thought I had the correct side at halftime with a and m rolling.

I think the favorites are the plays saturday, we'll see where the lines go. I hate playing against villanova.

yeah...just too many points to give xavier. was even more confident with teaser points, but you need to win the other play in the teaser.

the x-factor for a&m was the red-headed stepchild hefner. he had a few good games in the SEC tournament. i think he only had one 3 yesterday. one more and a&m wins.

i'm still liking the over in the fresno st. game, but, after going 0-2 in the nba yesterday, not sure whom i'll pair it with.

I was disappointed in that article. I wanted some Never Come Morning or The Man With the Golden Arm tales of the old Polish ghetto.

i harped on the over for 2 days in the fresno st. x coastal carolina final and i hope others also played this.

over/under of 127. the final score was 85-74. 159 points. easy play. played it straight up...would have won that xavier teaser if this game was yesterday. there would have been no philly in teaser and hence, no utah loss.

been on a hot college streak for over a month.
