This morning after a 14 minute(!) commercial break, I thought I heard Pappy say he was gonna be on ESPN. I had it on in the background, and wasn't really listening, since it usually doesn't warrant my concentration. Anybody hear this? I hope that I'm mistaken. I'd hate to see a dolt like North representing Chicago on a national level.

Gems like....The Bears will not go the playoffs with Rex Grossman starting, which he said the other day, I'm sure would be stated on ESPN...Hope this isn't true.

As I was half listening to pappy while getting ready for work, I thought he was saying he was gonna be on NBC. Then while channel surfing on the drive downtown, he said something about Jen Jen fixing his mitre (I thought she already was doing that....) and the Bookie Priest being nervous about his first TV appearance. Please tell me this idiot isn't dressing up and putting that bit on TV now.....

I think it could be funny with a visual. It could not be any worse than The Swami.
