I think it's all a bit in the sense that she doesn't believe a whole lot of what she screams about on twitter (to wit: Designated Hotter, fighting school redistricting to keep her kids safe from minorities in Aurora, "my black clients LOVED the family reunion that was prison", etc.) and she thinks making herself a victim/creating victimhood from the ether is a path to success and notoriety. But I doubt she has the horses to be playing some machiavellian trick on us all, her lies seem more impulsive than calculated.

I guess she is intending the subtle implication of her "playing soccer with boys" line to be that women were so overlooked when she was growing up that she was forced to play in leagues for boys, when the reality is she's referring to the time she was eligible to play in youth sports leagues in the age groups where the players aren't separated by gender.
