this show is great. followed it from the 1st season...forgot if there was another thread.

it's just solid. the chemistry between eve and villanelle is incredible, especially since they are rarely in the same scenes together. both feel each others' presence. it's kind of a twisted love story.

i like that it's also a "worldly" show, in that it has a lot of traveling through europe in it.

i've been recommending it to friends. but a lot of them don't have cable. i heard it can be seen on Hulu but i haven't looked for it since I have BBC America.

This show wrapped up on Sunday. The show's regression from season 1 to 4 reminded me of "Mr. Robot". Except I think "Killing Eve" was far more original than "Mr. Robot" was.

it didn't benefit from having a different showrunner each season. every time, it felt like the show was re-booting itself but not re-inventing itself. the characters became very boring, especially the character of eve.

the last season began so poorly i was ready to bail within the first 2 episodes. but it got back to what its strength was: villanelle being villanelle, and the tension between her and eve.

the finale also had some really lame filler (a character invented in the last third of the season to serve no point except to get bludgeoned), but wound up having a decent ending. for a finale, it couldn't possibly disappoint because the show was devolving into drivel.

between the first 2 seasons i would have highly recommended the show. but the last 2 just got repetitive and desperate...and when it got weird, it got dumb.

and dumb's a good word to describe the logic of most of these characters. just because some of them had a straight face while making bad decisions didn't make it clever or interesting.

another missed opportunity to be a great show to remember. such is becoming a huge trend in TV shows lately.

I'm told the final episode is not available on AMC but rather AMC+, which requires a subscription? Is that true...and are they going to do the same bullshit with Better Call Saul? Maybe I should be looking on BBC America?

probably; i recorded it on BBC America. When the last season was being broadcast you could watch "the next episode" on AMC+ so those with a subscription were probably able to finish it last week.
