Time to give up on him. Sox putting the fear of a long summer in the Cubs trolls.

At 1-2 should probably count the Dodgers out too.

Looks like the best player on the team so far.

Yep, he looks like a stud, but I cringe every time he slides. This team needs him to to stay healthy and I don't trust him in that regard yet.

I was holding my breath that Jimenez wouldn't pull a hamstring on that ground ball in the 8th.

Someone needs to tell Jimenez that red and blue glove doesn't play well with the locals

If he can't get his slider over, he's useless. Guys will just sit dead red and it doesn't matter if its 99mph or 102mph. A straight fastball is going to get belted once guys know its coming.

If he's getting his slider over or at least close to the zone, he's almost unhitable.

I am concerned.

He struggled last April as well. He still have his stuff. I bet he settles in soon.

tonight's game is looking like one of those where everyone with tickets drives to stadium, pays for parking, has a couple drinks/hot dogs, and then the Sox cancel it.

And I fully expected to come here and read that it's already been cancelled. Ugh.

  That's exactly what it looks like.

Folks....buying April or even May Chicago baseball tickets in advance is a really bad idea.

I think if this was the Tigers or Twins, they would have bagged it already. But this is Seattle's only trip to Chicago this season so they will try to get the game in rather than lose an off day later in the year. Only other option is to play a goofy double header in Seattle where the Sox are the 'home' team for the early game.

That's probably the logic, but I don't see this one getting in.

Would also guess that with the short spring training, and pitchers being behind as it is, they don't want a double header tomorrow. But that's another option.

No matter, I'm sure they want the drink and food sales tonight first, then they'll make a decision.

Like they've done for 100 years?

How many times has Doctor of Meteorology Bossard canceled a game early and it ended up being fine?

What kind of dick buys an April game and then gets pissed?

It’s crazy they even started this game.

Also Eloy just murdered a ball.

Radar looks like there is a blob about to move out, but surprised they kept playing through it. There are puddles on the infield, and you could tell on Roberts little chopper he wasn’t running full out

I want Graveman closing.

that would be the greatest name in the history of closers and i'm not accepting any other answers. just like over here i once encountered a regional type manager with the last name of fearday. pitch perfect.

Keuchel has gotten to the 5th with only 1 run scored. That's a win in my book.

Let's not stretch him too far though...

my greatest scott servais memory was in the mid-late 90s when the cubs lineup featured the "bermuda triangle" of blauser orie and servais. ah yes those were good times!
