I’m sure I’ll get the specifics wrong here, but I seem to recall a Bernstein bit where he noted that every house in suburban Chicago has a room or a wall featuring a bunch of bears swag and a picture of ditka.

You know what is a skill that people don't use anymore?

Listening to the gas tank while you are filling to determine when you need to stop pumping the gas.

There was a definite cadence as it got closer to the top to time the end.

And Re-Vulcanize my tires, post haste.
