McKay needs a dictionary

Dunno, Will Ferrell can't be kicked to the curb quickly enough. He's the embodiment of the sad state of comedy movies.

I'm not a fan of Ferrell's goofy style of comedy; but irrespective of the quality of Ferrell's films, Ferrell doesn't seem like a guy that would be a challenge to get along with. Even if he is, all McKay had to do was pick up the phone and let Ferrell know they were going another way with casting. Maybe find Ferrell another role in the movie. Ferrell's tall, blackface Kareem?

And then when McKay's trying to reconcile, McKay pulls the bitch move of delineating all the times he felt slighted in the relationship? "I tried to reach out to him, and I reminded him of some slights that were thrown my way that were never apologized for."

That's not how you go about saying "My bad, I fucked up, forgive me". Guessing this wasn't the only time McKay handled things in a manner that pissed off Ferrell. Likely it was just the final nail in the coffin of their relationship.

It's so cool that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is, in multiple senses of the word, a poster.
