Yep, he just wanted his money, and now the toxic vagrant grifter is tuned out and checked out.

He was in Green Bay last week meeting with them and discussing the team.

Rumor is that he even managed to emerge from his hallucinatory haze long enough to utter one (1) coherent thought.

Sounded pretty good on the audio I heard from last night. I am sure he can get back to his drugs today.

By the way, I like the ode to SR86.

I really used to like the guy and at worst I am ambivalent toward Green Bay, but damn if I wish they could both go away now. Especially me me me Rodgers.

Christian Watson is a nice pick-up. I definitely wanted him more than Pickens - although the cost was high. Wouldn’t mind seeing them trade up again for a TE, OL or another WR. Fill the needs and get depth with UFAs.

Still on the board 25 picks later. Odd that GMs don’t know as much as you. Of course your thoughts on Roquan and Rashan Gary don’t hold up, but whatever. Maybe the Bears will take him.

My opinion on the cap hasn’t changed and I’m not sure what you’re referencing, but nice deflection. Your guy is still on the board 50 picks later though Mel Kiper Lite.

Which one!!! This may be my favorite draft (before anyone has played a down in the NFL) ever for the Pack.

I want to see Wyatt and Doubs race. I think Wyatt may win.

Toward the end here I’d like to see them pick up a safety for depth and a kick return specialist (some little quick guy from a small school). Austin (WR from ND) is an interesting guy at this point as well. Good size and speed, but I think there were some off the field questions.

I have no idea why Gutey is adding 7th round picks except to go get special teamers for a tryout. I love Britain Covey. Jo Jo Doman is not really a fit on the field for defense but he looks like a special teamer all day long. He is probably gone shortly though.

Maybe they’re turning it over to Bisaccia to fill his special teams needs.

I hope that I'm wrong about the kid. Rodgers doesn't usually like young receivers anyway. It'll be three years before Rodgers trusts him.

Overall I feel like this was the best draft they’ve had in years. There was really only one pick which I hated (Ford) but he was a 7th rd pick so it’s not worth stewing over. I really liked the WR from Nebraska they picked up at the end. I think he can help immediately on kick returns and could eventually replace Cobb in the slot. That big safety they got (Carpenter) seems like a perfect special teams ace, which they desperately needed. They also replenished the O-line depth. I would have liked to see them get a TE, but you can’t have everything. I also see where they signed the rb from Iowa as an UDFA and I could see him sticking around as a punt returner and gadget player.

He's trying to be like Ryan Poles.

Btw, what is the over/under on the date that a Packers fan here says that Aaron Rodgers made Davante Adams what he is?

Taking shots at Packer fans is fair game but they are most effective when they have at least a modicum of truth. I haven’t read one anti-Adams post on here from a Packers fan. He was a top 3 player at his position and the passing game will almost certainly suffer from his loss - particularly early in the season. That said, they gained significant draft capital along with a ton of cap space which allowed them to fill holes on what should be a formidable defense. Having Rodgers, a top tier running back tandem, and solid o-line means their offense should be above average regardless. If the investment in the special teams pans out and they aren’t decimated by injuries the Packers should again be a SB contender. Enjoy the rebuild.

What does "should again" mean? They haven't been to the game in 12 years. They're fugazis. Once again the delusion of Packers fans rears its head.

So being in the NFC title game doesn't make th contenders, weird, we have different definitions of what a contenders is.

Packers fans are so sensitive about their 30 years of playoff failures.

This is what I mean. You guys didn't make the conference championship. You scored 10 points against a SF team that didn't even belong in the playoffs. The loss perfectly captured the gap between where you all think you are (we're contenders!) vs where you actually are (perennial postseason fodder for some other team to beat).
