I am 100% against Echo Zulu although it looks like she could shake loose on the lead and in today's racing the lead is just a HUGE advantage. I didn't like that they waited until the FG Oaks to start her this year. That suggests that something wasn't right. And I didn't like that race. Hidden Connection was going to catch her in one more jump. I question her ability to get the 9 panels and she resents the whip. But maybe that race was all she needed and she'll be better this time.

I'm also against Secret Oath, but I do think the morning line is kind of high. 6/1 or above is more than fair.

Kathleen O. is absolutely legit but as OTE points out in the Derby prep thread, sometimes those Gulfstream races don't translate. She can certainly win, but she's a play against for me.

I think Nest is the most likely winner, but there are some others that have chances nearly as good that will be much larger prices.

My tickets are going to be centered around Nostalgic, Venti Valentine, and Hidden Connection. And maybe a the Pletcher horse from Dubai.

i'm in a pool again with a bunch of guys that are in line with your thinking although i think they like kathleen o. i'm going to make sure some of the tickets we have do include some of those "against" horses just in case though. i like nest and venti valentine.

Agree with Joe......in the Oaks why not Shahama? Undefeated and has the hottest Jock aboard....Oaks / Derby Double
Shahams with Zandon/Smile Happy

They said the track will start firm and fast pending any more rain.

Hit that 1st exacta to start the day

Race 4 I think 7-JuJu's Map is going to get hammered at the window, but she's a 3 year old facing older competition and it's her 1st race of the year...look to the 5-Semble Juste, faced tougher last out at Keeneland and has raced here at Churchill 4 times, 2 wins, a second and 3rd...big value 10-1 m/l

Looking ahead to race 10 I like the 13Whatmakessammyrun and the 9-Pyron...Prat jumps off the 13 to ride the 9, big field big prices

Starting a spread Pick 5 ticket, keying on the 5-Olympiad here (5 tickets with the 5 horse singled, one ticket with 1.2.6 and 7), no intra race wagers

Race 8...three Chad Brown horses in this one...the 3, the 5 and the 8...the 3 and 5 are lockstep in the will-pays...not sure I see much separating them...I've keyed on the 5 and the 8 in this leg of my P5 (with one ticket 2.3.4.6.7,9)

13-Whatmakessammyrun Don't sleep on this guy out of the west...struggled in a route at Del Mar last out, but two previous turf sprints were eye opening and has been working out just fine in the am...that being said, Prat jumps off him to a very logical choice, the 9
13-9 Exacta Box
