So going to wrap it up and not tell too many details....

So when we went to sell our idea to the plumbers and whatever the toilet people call their industry, they told us this would be impossible to do without billions because it would require the entire overhaul of the plumbing and waste processing infrastructure. That this would need to re-design toilets and plumbing etc..... because of the membrane. that it had to be tested for years before changes would be made. Was it toxic material? was it harmful to this and that...lot of bullshit.

We told them we can look into making the membrane dissolve in the toilet. That way there wouldn't be the need to redesign anything or spend any money. They wanted nothing to do with it. We surmised they wanted some kind of payoff. They were very powerful in the halls of gov.

So the poly had come up w/ a plan where we can get funding and push this in the legislature. When our accountants and lawyers got the details of the plan, they said this was a big scam he was trying to pull. That our company would be used as a shell for ripping off tax payers and we would have nothing come out of the venture. And if things went south, the politician or any of the toilet/plumbing lobby would sell us out and we could face jail time. Remember this was late 80s / early 90s....this is the way shit worked then.

So I was not looking forward to any possibility of jail and a lot of the other business partners weren't either. When the politician heard of this, he went berserk on us because he looked at our venture as a cash cow to rip off potential investors and tax payers. He needed the money then too because he was deep in a lot of other shit from what I learned later. He owed a lot of money to some unscrupulous ppl.

Long story short, he blackballed all of us and we the venture went under. The business went under. And I couldn't find a job in the city because of this guy's name. My wife eventually left too and stuck me with 2 young children.

The intent was to help people in developing countries. Those egg shaped membranes could also be used as fertilizer to help grow crops too. Like I said, we were probably 30-50 years ahead of our time.

Looking back, we should have gone to someone like Prince Charles instead of these corrupt politicians. He has proven to be a man of vision when he was also ridiculed when he started his organic crops business back in the 80s.

A large part of the reason for this is that people choose the cheapest option instead of the longest lasting one. When you go to the store to buy a toaster, and there is a high quality one for $80 or a cheap one for $35 you will choose the $35 one.
