ive not followed this really. but i saw on the news this luna company was worth 1.6 bil and now it's only $3000.

if you invested like you said $1000 - that would be a good chance to take.

off topic, this old plumber guy I know who still uses a flip phone and is basically technologically inept, had his aol email hacked and everyone in his contacts list an email saying he needed financial help and if we would just send him $500 in apple play gift cards it would help him out. a mutual friend 45 yr old person fell for it and sent via email the numbers confirmation codes and the whole lot.

he eventually realized what he'd done and reached out to another mutual friend who is a police officer...when asked why he would do that, he said, Bob (actual name) is my friend and if he needed help why wouldn't I help him. I'm like if bob is a truly a good enough friend to send $500, wtf do you think bob the plumber who wears overalls and still uses a flip phone is going to do with Apple Play gift cards.

the real problem with crypto is that it was meant to be a currency, not a security held as an investment. If your product is going to become a means of exchange, it can't be held by speculators who refuse to spend it in hopes it gains value in the next 6-12 months. A currency needs some level of stability.

I like the idea of crypto but hate the execution of it.

I think the concept has appeal. But it has always felt like a ponzi scheme to me. I am not sure fiat money is all that much better.
