Getting several full color political ads in the mail every day, is this some kind of job security thing for the post office? Does anyone even look at them, let alone change their vote based on a mailed political ad?

Instantly toss all of them along with almost everything else that comes via US mail in the recycling bin.

It just seems like a massive waste of money, along with the TV ads.

Can't stand them. Have a customer who's been on hold for 10 days and they have 5 poltical mailings. Completely pointless. Everyone already knows who they are voting for. A mailing will not change that.

no, they don't dumbass. Most people have never heard of a bunch of the candidates. The mailers introduce them to us.

Further, even if u know who the candidate is, it's still heartwarming to get a mailer promoting them.

For instance, I would LOVE to get mailer about Trump in the mail. It would just be a nice warm fuzzy.

If my garage is open, these don't even make it into the house. They go straight to the garbage can.

I hate politics, and politicians. We had some local candidate walking around my neighborhood on Saturday morning. She rings my doorbell...I go answer.

Scumbag Politician: Hi sir, I'm

Me: I don't care. Go away. I hate politicians.

Me: No.

Scumbag Politician: Okay (proceeds to stick one in my storm door after I close the front door)

Me, seeing her car parked around the corner from my house took the flyer and put it under the wiper blade in her car.

Scumbag Politician (after seeing me do it): Why did you do that sir?

Me: I told you I wasn't interested and don't want your lie filled propaganda.

Scumbag Politician: You could have just thrown it out

Me: And you could have listened when I said I didn't want it in the first place. At least now I know who not to vote for.

My house is right on the corner into my neighborhood. It was easy enough because she parked right next to my back yard. I booked it to the back door and just so happened to get to her car before her. The look on her face was delightful.
