Exactly. Who doesn't want to see a Carolina/NYR matchup? Thankfully we don't have to watch Boston anymore this season.

I usually hate Pitt and want them to lose every year but I have no clue who anyone is on the Rangers team. I didnt even know the Rangers were any good. The way the NHL season was delayed and then restarted I lost all interest in the regular season. I didnt even know when the playoffs were starting until I accidentally read something the day of game 1.

btw - what happened to the islanders and Canadiens this season?

Rangers have a lot of young talent plus Panarin and Kreider. They are definitely a team with a bright future. Shesterkin is your Vezina winner this year but has been poor in the playoffs. The Canadians were the worst team in the league this season. Weber never played and Price did not come back till the last month of the season. The Islanders had a 13-game start of the season road trip due to stadium issues and then had Covid issues. They were never able to recover.

That Rangers comeback and OT win was fantastic theater. Shesterkin needs to find his regular season form if the Rags are going to have any chance against Carolina. All of these 2nd round matchups are intriguing. And the more I watch the TBS studio show, the more I enjoy it. Liam McHugh is always good and the chemistry between Gretz, Bizz, Tochett, and Carter is entertaining.

Calgary/Dallas game was great too. Dallas goalie stood on his head but Calgary just had too much firepower. Dallas offense sucks.

Calgary and Edmonton is going to be fun. First time since the early 90s they have faced each other in the playoffs.

The TNT NHL show they tried to model after the NBA TNT show w/ Shaq/Chuck/Kenny and so far it's been very entertaining.

If you saw the ESPN show last night in the dallas/calgary game, it was like 3 guys stuffed into a closet. Melrose, Chelios, and the Buchigrass studio has no energy and it's just dead.

TNT looks to have taken the NHL seriously while ESPN it's an afterthought.

It looks to be a Colorado/Tampa Finals which would be great.

Agreed. The ESPN show is awful. Melrose is terrible.

The shot prior to the goal deflected off the netting and came back into play.

McDavid only has 1 goal and 5 hits while Tkachuk had a hatty with 0 hits. IMO good playoff hockey is a 2-1 OT game....not the kind of scoring you see at the nba all star game. All this series is doing is determining who the Avs will throttle on their way to the Cup Final.

I dislike the Oilers. They are like the Harden Houston Rockets era. An insult to the sport itself.

This Oilers/Flames game is fucking nuts. They are both going 100 mph, physical as hell, fast as hell and its just the 1st. Go Flames. Shove it up Mike Smith's ass and then Evander Kane's. Whomever wins this series will have no gas left to keep going. Ive never seen a playoff series like this one before.

I don't want Calgary to win just because of lucic. I forgot he was there. I think I like Mcdavid too.

I like Guedraeu more than McDavid. I really don't like either organization. But I also dont like the Blues so hoping the Avalanche make it out of the west. I still like Tampa in the east. It's rare to see a team such as good as them.

Lucic and his roman nose have been around forever. I don't care about him. I love Tkachuk though so I am all in on the Flames. The whining bitch Smith and the human piece of shit Evander Kane make me hate the Oilers despite McDavid and his amazing talents. Duncs got a goal for them which was pretty cool to see as he only scores about 1 per year and it was from about 10 feet out.

You're right. The pace of that game was great especially after the Carolina game which was a tough watch. And while I'm at it, fuck off Mike Smith.

Grabbed over 7 goals at +106 for Calgary and Edmonton. Might as well ride it.
