Cubs are getting the Zambrano they hoped for but no one else can help him out.
The guys need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and mount a comeback... or
anything else that moves for that matter as they are currently being mounted
by the Dodger dugout.

D-Lee is an idiot to slide with his hands up like that. That should have been interference and a double play. He's DP-Lee even when he's not hitting!

Lee blocking that ball Ben Wallace style was the best play he's made all series.

So that was a nice turn, but is it a spark, or is it closing the barn door after all the animals ran out?

ok..is it me or is isuckudome seem scared of the ball. I find it hard to hit the ball when your facing first base when swinging the bat.

Lou is soon to be 0-5 in playoff games with the cubs and he is sitting there like he just took one to many shots of jack.

He is probably just as befuddled by this shitfest as we are. He knows this team is much better than this. We know they are much better than this. They need to calm the fuck down and play ball. If they can do that they should be fine.

zambrano will get a hit, then soriano strikes out, then theirot pops out, and lee ends the inning with a fielder choice..just a prediction.

Id like to take the time to remind you that hockey begins next week on the 10th. It will be a fun season where the Blackhawks will likely make the playoffs and actually content for the Cup. I recommend watching the progress of Dustin Byfuglien.

How is it the only guy who looks semi-relaxed out there is Zambrano? He is also the only guy who looked like a real hitter at the plate. :?

Maybe, but I don't want him batting leading off the bottom of the 6th there. He's at 98 pitches already. Can't put in Fontenot?

I'm putting this square on the back of Piniella! 2 years in a row! Any manager (besides Ned Yost) could get this team into the playoffs, especially in this division - he's paid (and extended) to get them deep in the playoffs! He better take responsibility for this disaster - for whatever that's worth.

What choking fucking dogs. It's unbelievable. The knock on Zambrano is that he doesn't deal with adversity well. And, as if it were by divine fucking intervention, the Cubs find a way to add adversity every goddamn time he starts. DeRosa fucking that DP up was bad enough, but for DP Lee to fuck up yet another DP opportunity? That sort of cosmic irony practically demands explanation.

These guys have no hope against good pitching. They look positively over-matched. I suppose I'm glad the nut shot came now, instead of later on down the line, when its intensity would have been somewhat greater. I thank the Cubs for sparing me that much... a rare concession by an organization seemingly bent on tormenting its fanbase.

No, he might get hit and break this roll the cubs are on. Fontenot needs to be the starting 2d baseman next year and put derosa in rf and trade isuckudome, if they can, if not, eat the contract, because he isnt going to do anything.

Yep. Where do you even start? Last year, you could write off as a fluke. But now two years in a row, you have a trend. They're going to have to shake things up in the off-season.

Move over, "the Bears had more turnovers than yards," there's a new most-shameful-statistic King in this city.

Start with that beer belly mother fucker that just got his contract extended this week. We didn't bring him in here for two consecutive sweeps in the NLDS!
