I knew someone would do that. I’m going to assume TM is not a troll enough or too smart to realize that’s not my point but he couldn’t help himself.

I could honestly see them coming back as adults for a movie or limited series.

They have a lifetime job. When's Fast and Furious 17 coming out?

I just started this last season. Just a few mins into it and there is a basketball pep rally at Hawkins the day before a spring break trip? What in the world?

This season got off to a bit of a slow/awkward start, especially with poorly written dialogue for 11 and Jonathan (who now looks like he's 35-40), but has really picked up. Very enjoyable.

Is there anything you don't crap on? Why don't you go find some Wagon Train reruns on metv?

the bloated premiere was enough for me. everything about it looked rehashed and the characters are completely bland. the new characters are uninteresting and it tries way too hard to cram the 80's down your throat. it doesn't even look genuine anymore. it looks like a disney theme park.

i guess it's good though that "running up that hill" is getting its due. it's a great song.

i got roped into watching more of this. a friend of ours got her kids into it recently leading up to S4 and they're hooked so we wound up watching the 2nd episode all together. seeing it with them actually enhanced the experience because they are too young to see the cliches that just keep getting worse and worse with each season. this one really takes the cake. it's so hack-written it shows how duffless the duffer brothers are.

the character of robin is horrendously written. she's written and performed through a 2022 lens, and i'm seeing this more and more with "historical" shows/movies or anything that's supposed to take place in a certain era. characters are written with the scope of someone that lives now, which defeats the purpose.

you can tell a huge budget went into this, and the only thing that makes it worth watching is that...the villain is effective. but also an amalgam of better villains from other franchises. at least the original monster was something somewhat new. this is right out of "nightmare" and "hellraiser", and even "it" without adding much depth to it.

I really am enjoying it. It is what it is, a goofy 80's-themed horror series, nothing more nothing less.
