I am sure there is unreported rape. Mostly among poor and powerless people. The problem is the unreported rape that Julie is referencing is the Felicia Sonmez situation. I just read a little about this story.

This is my opinion. If you go to a professional masseuse who is trained in kinesiology and you grab her ass, that's harassment and completely inappropriate. You don't jizz on Chaz Armstrong. If you go to a happy ending masseuse, that's a business dispute.

In this case I feel like it's similar to a bunch of strippers who call themselves "dancers" as if they were Maria Tallchief getting angry that a guy tried to slip a finger past their g-string. That's the business you're in.

That's the way I see it too. Is he a scumbag? Probably. But the Julies of the world claim it's inconceivable that 24 women could all be lying, when I can easily imagine a scenario where 60 women gave him a happy ending and 24 see an opportunity to make a few hundred thousand each by claiming they didn't agree to it.

I should state that maybe all these women were professional scientific massage therapists and Watson was completely out of line and Julie is correct. But reading between the lines, that isn't the feeling I'm getting.
