it isn't goofy. it takes itself very seriously. and it purports itself to be a lot more than that.

I mean how seriously does it take itself when one of the main characters spends a season in a sailor suit from work?

Serious enough to make a follow up season of over 12 hours of content. That’s Peter Jackson level of commitment.

It fits in with all the other horror movies that are basically actors acting as serious as they can in the most insane and illogical ways because realistically anything as powerful as any horror villain would just crush everyone and it would be a movie where it's basically just every character dying.

If you want well acted movies with the appropriate level of seriousness then go watch Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers.

See? You found another positive about stranger things - Bill Murray isn’t involved.

Strong finish to Part 1. The actor playing One did a real good job.

Yeah, but it’s not a big deal if he’s just a gay guy.

"Running Up That Hill" hit Billboard #1 in UK and Australia and top 5 here on the strength of this season.

Some of us Gen X'ers would enjoy that song getting featured....I'm more excited about Eddie and His BC Rich Warlock Guitar...they even gave it a Kahler trem. Now that's fucking 80's!

Was late to the party and binged.

IMO, Season 4 is by far the best with episode 7 the best episode, esp the last 20 minutes.

The California and Russian storylines should have never been written in.

Will is by far the weakest of all the characters. Eddie was great.

Way too long and drawn out in the final episodes. Lots of wasted space.
Hated the overall ending.

This is the first season I could actually sit through. I don't hate the show, but it doesn't do much for me. My wife likes it, which means I kind of have to like it (cue the Samuel L Jackson Vegetarian meme).

I don't know if it was the long story drag or the space between the seasons but I was "lets get on with it already".

So they're really using the Gay Fuel song in this? Cool.
