The funny thing is though, Bitcoin markets are functioning as they should. Government isn't bailing anyone out.

And if I had a Satoshi for every time I've heard some goof say, "Bitcoin is dead", I'd have a lot more Bitcoin.

Now go beg the government for U.S. Dollars representing ever diminishing buying power.

Sounds like it’s time to increase your stake from 1% to 10%

The dot.com bust didn't bust the fundamental idea. Same goes here. RIP Dogecoin, Ape cartoons, and virtual land. No one cares. Hash rates are still going up. THAT is fundamental.

Those shitcoins are something for young dopes to jerk around with. No different than when Spiral got fat off that busted Game Stop. Hey, more power to you if you can make money with shit like that. But it's phony stuff.

That's why I hate the concept of NFTs. It turns an invention that is more important than the Gutenberg press into a punch line.

Anyone who is actually "woke" or socially conscious should be championing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is economic freedom. The WEF and other NGOs are trying to establish a single world government. Bitcoin or some powerful successor will be the thing that keeps The People free.

I have no patience for the ignorant who say blockchain is a ponzi scheme. An idea that uses blockchain is one thing. An idea that forces you to use a shitcoin over bitcoin on the blockchain is another. That makes it suspect. And yes, I have money in a couple suspects. ETH and Cardano. That's an investment, either a poor one or a good one. But Bitcoin isn't an investment. It's money. I use bitcoin. I just wish I could use it more. For sure I wish I could have used it more when it was 50K.

When you're rolling your wheelbarrow full of greenbacks to the Piggly Wiggly for a loaf of bread, Nardi and I will be paying a few Satoshis for ribeye steaks.

In my opinion all Cryptos and NFT's are just a big Ponzi scheme. They all seem to have the same methodology of pump and dump by its leaders of these companies that promote these "investments" and the young naïve folks that put there money in these things they have no idea about. To me these are similar to 10 years ago the popular scams called HYIPS - A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a fraudulent investment scheme that purports to deliver extraordinarily high returns, in excess of 100%. There were a bunch of forums and promoters of these so called "investments" but 100% were all scams. The wild west of crypto currency and NFT's seems to follow the same methodology.. targeting idiots who think get rich quick schemes via crypto are the right way to make a buck.
Quote:
The current chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Gary Gensler, has described cryptocurrency investments as “rife with fraud, scams, and abuse”. In the murky world of crypto DeFi, it’s hard to know who provides money for loans, where the money flows, or how easy it is to trigger currency meltdowns.

There are no standards for risk management or capital reserves. There are no transparency requirements. Investors often don’t know how their money is being handled. Deposits are not insured. We’re back to the wild west finances of the 1920s.

There are no "leaders" of Bitcoin. That's the entire point. And you can't "pump and dump" Bitcoin. I have the same amount of Bitcoin today as I did yesterday.

When I reference leaders, I mean the scam promoters on social media via twitter, YouTube, reddit, etc.. to amplify the lemmings to buy the digital product (ie Dogecoin or a celebrity NFT's) not worth the 1 and 0s there made up off. That's where the pump and dump comes in... promotion, early investors (the scammers/promoters) get out once the price of the underlying e-currency or NFT rises and 90% of the rest of the "investors" are bag holders in the Ponzi schema hoping to recover there initial investment loss.

Big shooters have a second chance. So take a second look. Second looks are free. It's inevitable somebody like Amazon will eventually start taking bitcoin. All the "ponzi scheme" dummies have been scared off.

Until you can buy a cheeseburger with bitcoin its utility remains nonexistent.

It’s future-boy art - an asset that’s otherwise worthless until sold.

1 Bitcoin is 1 Bitcoin.

You don't measure your Dollars by gallons of gas or pounds of beef, do you? Because your Dollars are obviously worth less than they were a year ago.

You can buy cheeseburgers with Bitcoin.

If that’s the case then shift it to something else. It’s just not a transactional currency yet. It’s an asset.

Also I’m assuming we’re talking some gay, millennial meat substitute burger. No proud American pays for his burger with anything other than greenbacks.

And I say this as somone with a tiny bit of skin in the bitcoin game.

OK fatso, listen up

Food and Beverages Companies That Accept Bitcoin

Starbucks Corporation
Burger King
KFC
Subway
Pizza Hut
Dominos
Baskin Robbins

Or better yet, get a Coinbase debit card and fill it with bitcoin. They'll do the converting for you wherever MC is accepted.

bitcoin is valuable because it's secure way to store IOU's. if there is ever a hack or government seizure its value will collapse. even with it losing as much value as it has, it really hasn't compared the everything else that has also lost value.
