There is a certain rush in those feelings but it's temporary. We've always been free to do it, it's when we acted upon it that we've seen a decline in happiness and family. There is little truth and value in it, I don't think it ends up being good.

I don't think that times were all that great when Men were able to completely dominate and control "their" women either. It's one of the reasons that women's lib came about in the first place.

Why? Women now have the freedom to explore whatever they want to explore sexually, and it doesn't always include a man. That's a clear win for women. That doesn't mean that it doesn't occasionally come with regret.

It depends on how far back you want to go thru history I suppose. Most men especially here aren't inherently bad and a lot of our social norms or lack of a better word constructs existed for a reason, some logical. Change is difficult and not always positive. We are very fortunate this country has been constructed the way it was and hopefully can continue. There isn't agreement even within the various waves of feminists movements on several issues and the goals of each have been very different.

I love confident and strong minded women.

I don’t love men hating women.

There is and always has been different types of Feminist ideals.

Women are more emotionally connected to sex than men. I believe there are several scientific studies that back this up like studies about what part of our brains are activated when shown sexy pictures and general reactions and habits of porn. You can tell it from behavior in a bar. Most women can shoot fish in a barrel and while most men are working on material, it's even evident in this thread.

Are your daughters sexually active with multiple partners or do they have a whenever wherever whatever attitude toward sex? Are you or would you be supportive of that, is that what you teach them? Do you think that would make them happy? I would be sad if my daughter felt that way, I would never encourage that or try to instill those values. It doesn't seem like a clear win that is only occasional in regret. I can tell you in even limited experience there are several things I regret and may not have realized it for years.

From my personal experience, I agree that a lot of women appear to have or get an emotional connection when it comes to sex. I would hesitate to say most women do or say that science supports this opinion. As others have pointed out, this isn't unique to women.

I'm not sure how sexually active my daughters are. As long as they aren't being physically abused, I plan on staying out of their sex lives. In general, I encourage my kids to be true to who they are and be unapologetic about it.

Experience and failure usually help you figure out what you like and what makes you happy. MANY people are afraid of experiencing the pain even if it ultimately leads them to joy.

I've never understood why the feelings around sex needs to be complicated. It's going to the amusement park. If you insist on going on all 29 rides, a handful are going to be a little weird. No need to go to a psychiatrist over it. Unless one ride is called THE ASSAULT.

You don't teach your kids any morals or values for sex especially if they can avoid painful and possibly long lasting effects? Most kids especially teens make terrible decisions rooted in selfishness, what goofy peers think, or what helps them in some sort of social way that may or may not be good. I'm not really sure how sexually active my kids are or will be but my husband and I have at least had discussions with them on things they want to consider and what is decent or appropriate. I don't know why I wouldn't.

A lot of the rides make females sick and want to vomit or they hurt our heads.

You know, men will take direction. We're team oriented....to a point.

Morals and values for sex? No. I told my daughters the things that boys were going to say and do to try to have sex with them. I never told any of my kids not to have sex. I took the approach that I thought would be most effective for my kids. Avoiding pain isn't one of them.

We know boys try to get girls drunk and have sex with them. If your teen girls believe drunk sex is great and they should do it all the time with anyone that wants too because it's true to who they are you'd think that's great? They'd be free to post naked pictures on the internet if they were of age and what they wanted to do? This will lead to happiness, liberation, and is a great service in advancing feminism?

Well, I'm aware that even with the best advice, we're all going to make our own choices. Good and bad. I'm not arrogant enough to believe that my kids will conduct themselves in ways that are always acceptable to me. So far, my approach has worked out well for my kids. Hopefully, your method works for yours.

That's up to you. 99% of us are fine with it. At least I hope 99% are fine with it. For the first few trips to the park. After that, it's what's called a "relationship". Now some women want a relationship before the amusement park. That's also fine. This shit is simple. All you have to do is communicate it because our weakest attribute is MIND READING.

What does it matter how many rides? If you have found "the one" and you truly love her and want to marry her, the number of rides she has or hasn't had is past history and shouldn't matter one iota for the future.

If it does, that says more about the man than the woman.
