The thing that I just can't reconcile is that he turned down 800K/yr to do this. He looks like a homeless person right now. Was it really all just because of his ego? Ego from losing that much money from his previous salary and possibly having to change his show/format? I guess it's just stubbornness.

Bookie Priest is someone skews Mike's winning percentage. All "he" has to do is follow North's picks, and their winning ratio doubles for the day. On the other hand, he can be used in a straddling position; North can pick wrong, but claim that since he's also the priest, that no, he made no such misdeed...

What? You think no one is calling him out? The "priest" isn't feeling well, indeed!

Truth to tell, I kind of like it. When Terry launches his site, he can have Larry Horse give you his picks from Hawthorne...

When he and Jiggs did their pick 'em segment, years ago, Jiggs used to call himself Kimala, but I forgot who North's character was... Bring that guy back, too!

North should also borrow "Swamee Murph", just in case he needs more characters.
