I find the Netflix/TV/movie recommendations are really good here—CFMB has pointed me to several great shows that I would have otherwise not known about.

NFL season is the best. Some of the nerdier MLB talk helps shore up my lack of knowledge.

The open exchange of thoughts and ideas is an essential part of the human existence, even a crackpot may have an original thought or two which at the very least helps add perspective.

His complaints about the board ring hollow. Seacrest and I have never run this board like a dictatorship. It's pretty much been a real collective. And here's the thing The Missing Link doesn't want to say. He was offered the chance to be a moderator and make decisions about content. He declined. I suspect so he could continue his constant whining.

Bottom line: Post if you want to. If you don't want to that's fine too. If you want to create alternative forums you can do that too and some of you have. Just stop complaining because I don't give a fuck.

The primary reason that I didn't want to be a moderator is due to my not wanting to ban, edit, or censor people. Even racist people and I told you that from the beginning. I believe they have a "right" to be heard too.
However my "bottom line" isn't the same as yours. You invest in this site financially. I don't thus if allowing guys to discuss extermination of "other races" is driving people away then by all means ban them.

I agree. The vast majority of those I "dislike" happen to be because they are racist however.

I'm really impressed by people's devotion to cooking. I used to bake and I was pretty good at it but I don't have much time for that. I also don't plan meals so far in advance to order special cuts of meat and prepare them for days in advance. You guys are like chefs and maybe I will follow a little down the line.
