me - "i told you this numerous times"

project manager - "YOU ARE COMPLETELY PUTTING THIS PROJECT TO A HALT"

me - "I'll see what I can do"

few hours later

Job super - "hey when can we expect frames to get here?"

me - "in 3-4 weeks"

Job super - "WHAAAAT 3 WEEKS I NEED FING FRAMES RIGHT FING NWO I CANT WAIT 3 WEEKS WARBLE GARBLE WARBLE GARBLE "

basically every few days having these conversations.

keep in mind these are the same contractors, pm's, and supers we've been working with for years.

Imagine being on the environmental side for these construction projects. Environmental/remediation requirements are the last thing these stupid contractors want to deal with. Always results in delays that could have been easily avoided.

Me: you need virgin quarry stone for this area.

Contractor brings recycled concrete instead

Me: we'll need to test this and wait two weeks for results before using it, or you need to remove it and bring virgin quarry stone.

Contractor has hissy fit.
