Okay, so I'll admit I've ever heard an entire Bookie Priest bit, but I think there's something wrong with the bit.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought a bookie (short for bookmaker) is one who takes in wagers. It seems as if the Bookie Priest does not take bets, but gives out wagering advice. I doubt know of a bookie who would give out wagering help.

So, this character is more like Father Wayne Allyn Root than a bookie priest. Sad.

Hummer where ya been? I had the same thought. We both know North never lets logic get in the way of anything, even a second rate radio bit. He is pathetic and so is his show. Anyone involved, with any self respect, had better shower after each show. I feel dirty just listening to transition. North acts like he has come up with something that is going to take the nation by storm, something so original that it has to be played twice a day, everyday. This is what you get for 2 million a year, just pathetic.

I think the North show hyping up the 'Bookie Priest' is as ridiculous as some on here trying to tear it down because it came from the North show.

I say, it'll be gone in another week or two...It may be new and exciting for North, but he'll run it into the ground for those who like it.

It's not new and exciting though, thats the problem. He has been running with this since at the very least March 1. Thats almost and entire month of the same shit over and over. At the beginning I thought it was creative, but if you go back to the original posts about it, we all predicted it would be run into the ground. It also wont be gone in a week, because as Rock posted a few days ago its a great bit in their minds and will continue. I listen to maybe a total of 15 min of the show each day just flipping around and I'd say more often than not i hear some form of this annoyance.

I think he'll probably run it into the ground...He can use it for the Final 4, but does anyone really care about the NBA ? I know I do, but the interest level is so low that even the Bookie Priest can't help that. Same with baseball betting...This bookie priest should only be used for college basketball tourney/bowl games, and MAYBE for Friday's during the NFL season. Knowing North, he'll probably use it everyday for regular season NBA/MLB.

If this Bookie Priest guy is out there on the street earning, he's going to have to pay me my cut....................along with an extra fee for going into business without my blessing.

It really is stupid that Pappy calls him the Bookie priest and brags about his winning reccord. A bookie who is happy that he gives out winners. A bookie that is proud to help his clients win money against him. Seeing as though this is a Pappy idea it makes perfect Pappy sense.

There's the theory if you leave monkeys typing for an infinite length of time they'll eventually type the complete works of Shakespeare. If we let North keep talking and talking, eventually he'll get it right

Then of course 30 commercials a day telling us how he got it right.

I estimate my listening to Mike over the past 3 days has been a total of 20 minutes, between getting in my car and having the Score on and going to my office where the Score was on.

every single day within 5/10 minutes of listening, I get a Bookie Priest commercial telling me twice a day it will be on?

The bit is good, but not even close to that good!

Also still never got the concept of running commercials for your show, during your show?
