I finally stopped watching Curse of Oak Island this season. Hadn't realized I had been watching for like 8 years before I gave up on it.

I fought through like 8 bad seasons of Dexter.

Some people are just stronger than others.

Agreed. Yet I still did finish it. Painful.

I just couldn't. I still care about what happens to Kim and Jimmy. I even cared about who would end up ruling Westeros. I didn't give a shit about what happened to Claire or Doug.

The Walking Dead is the one I was incredibly invested in and watched for so many seasons and then I just couldn't any longer. I probably spent 8 years watching that and quit completely.

That's close to 100 hours that could have been spent networking, securing mentorships, and/or growing your personal brand. Shameful.

It's sort of like Russia/Ukraine. Eventually someone has to win. You can't just have People vs. Zombies indefinitely.

I like the theory that Glenn represented the viewer and as soon as he was killed off it ruined the entire franchise.

Isn't it Shakes' thesis that The Walking Dead is the most important show in television history?

While not as bad as Rick's disquisition on the revolutionary nature of The Big Bang Theory, it's still something to behold.

The Libertarian contingent in my club loved The Walking Dead when it first came out. These guys are a little strange but I can't bag on them too much since they got me into Bitcoin when the exchange rate was less than $100 USD.

Anyway, they used to have The Walking Dead parties up at the club. Well one Sunday they were having a party and they were all up there dressed like Zombies and shit and a few of the old mobsters decided to stop in for a Sambuca nightcap.

The next day I got a call from one of the old mustaches asking me "What kind of queer shit do those homos have going on up there?"

For the record, I still don't think I called it revolutionary. I said it was one of the more unique concepts a sitcom has had in recent times. It also became unwatchable as it became the same formulaic episode every week.

Nothing with Kaley Cuoco is unwatchable. I happily sit through The Flight Attendant every Sunday night and I can't even tell you what it's about.

AMC has become almost all Walking Dead stuff. It’s the cranberries of AMC programming.

Suits and Billions are two shows that I got invested in and then continued watching after they kind of jumped the shark.

The end is nigh.

Seems logical that the series will end in the courtroom; my guess is Gene gets caught and he has one last performance up his sleeve.

The teaser is kind of odd, showing a car crash. (Maybe the cartel goes after Kim and Saul?)

I'll miss the BB universe, but at least new LOTR, GoT, and Andor shows are coming soon.

Why? That's who Saul is. That's what the show has been about.

I would be cool with a scam that has him and Kim riding off into the sunset. A feel good ending would be better than the "tragic" ending that I'm expecting.

Kind of overdone at this point right. Might be the first time a show as ever jumped a shark twice

The 2nd half of this season has been mostly awful. This show has still been better overall than BB.

They went full in on Film Noir at the end. I liked it.

The cameo was one I did not even consider and was fantastic.

The other one was good too but not as good as the one within the BCS Universe. The Mike one was good too. Minor spoiler.

Great series. Not as good as BB. But a satisfying end to the story they were telling IMO.

I’d say they stuck the landing. Lots of call backs to earlier seasons. The scene with Walter White, coupled with Jimmy maneuvering to get Kim to his sentencing hearing telegraphed the ending.

as much as the show was meandering in its latter seasons, i thought this finale stuck the landing. the show itself was bloated and too long but this was as good as a finale as you could hope. ditto on the cameo kudos. i really appreciated them wrapping this up the way they did with those storylines.

the payoff of "the time machine" thing was also very well done.

i also appreciated the "thank you" montage from the cast after the credits rolled. that was a nice touch. we spent a lot of time with these characters. it was a nice sendoff.

odenkirk really grew as an actor with this series. i never thought i would be able to take him seriously as an actor but he had some superior moments during this series.

looks like he's got his next gravy train with "straight man" coming next year.

Prob about as good as you could hope for with how things went the last couple seasons.

Nice that Saul went out on a relative high note, meaning he gets his punishment but also won't be mistreated by the other prisoners, who view him as an ally.

Part of me wouldn't mind seeing a spinoff with Kim (maybe a limited series), but I also can understand if Gilligan is ready to move on after 15 years. Then again, sometimes you have a calling (see George Lucas).

That's actually one of the only tv series I've had any interest in over the last fifteen years. I've tried to watch a variety of other shows but they all get very boring very quickly imho.

I doubt that I made it through 15 minutes of Saul.

Jimmy was tiresome. Other than that particular fact over 6 seasons, and it's a big caveat, it was as good, if not a little better, than BB.

Better Call Saul was a very good show, at times a great show. However, Breaking Bad was still clearly superior.

The first 3 seasons of BB were mostly bad. BCS can't compete with the highs of BB, but it was a better overall show. I think the last 2 seasons of BB have made MANY forget about the early suckage.
