Also, this year, the veterans are getting to stay at their homes instead of having to stay in the hotel for the early part of camp.

Jordan Love starting Pack's 1st pre-season game...a glimpse of the future Packfans.

Jordan Love will start at quarterback for the Green Bay Packers in their first preseason game Friday against the San Francisco 49ers, coach Matt LaFleur announced Monday. LaFleur added that he is undecided on whether Aaron Rodgers will play this preseason.

I don’t think anyone expected Jenkins back by opening day. Bak’s situation is certainly concerning if it extends into the season though. At that point it would seem that more time isn’t going to fix the problem.

He was actually doing it on the practice field, that has to mean he is getting close because otherwise injured players do their work inside.

(David) Moore was one of five Bears receivers who missed practice Tuesday. Eberflus did confirm that N’Keal Harry’s ankle injury will sideline him for a significant amount of time. NFL Network reported it is a high ankle sprain that could keep him out six weeks. Byron Pringle is out with a quadriceps injury that Eberflus classified as more significant than day to day, though he doesn’t think it will affect Pringle’s start to the regular season. Velus Jones Jr. and Dante Pettis are also out with undisclosed injuries. The status of tight end Cole Kmet also is worth watching. He sat out team work late in practice Tuesday. The Bears also were without tight ends Ryan Griffin and James O’Shaughnessy.Defensive lineman Angelo Blackson and cornerbacks Kyler Gordon and Duke Shelley were present but didn’t practice.
