But I never got the big crayon packs so all of those weird ones were cool. The metallic ones..Still not sure the difference between blue green and green blue.

Bluish green, greenish blue, and teal is right down the middle.

I was excited when the new 96-crayon box dropped with a whole new class of colors on top of the original 64. I was a fan of robin's-egg blue.

Despise crayons, remind me of when I would get NI (needs improvement) because I couldn't color within the lines back in the day, also did poorly in handwriting until they found out I needed glasses, but crayons and the concept of adult coloring books piss me off.

I like red, orange, pink, green, blue, yellow, and brown all equally. They all climb over the back of black.

Lots I never saw. I would have liked the glittery ones no doubt. I loved getting the new box every year and sometimes I still buy them. 96 or 120 box was the way to go. Carnation pink was my favorite, Macaroni and cheese was a great name though. I loved back to school shopping, I still do.

My parents would buy me the basic 8 pack to start school and then some kid would walk in with some 96 color pack. I'd just hum Love Child to myself in a corner.

They didn't have 96 colors when I was a kid. We had to make do with a 64 color box at best. And it got a little confusing when they changed the flesh crayon to peach. I wasn't sure what crayon I was supposed to use when I was drawing crackers.

That is my recollection too. Anyone who had a box with 2 rows of crayons was envied. I think the max I ever had was 16.

64-packs were the largest I remember as a kid. I'd just walk into the Kindergarten room and start throwing them out to other kids Oprah-style.
