Watching Spiegel waddle to home to be the ump was uncomfortable.

he looks MUCH better these days than he used to. I think he actually looks great, facially. He moved away from that jazzbo goatee into good looking facial hair

but again, he buttons the top button. Usually its all the buttons. This time it's just the top.

It definitely was not the worst pitch you will see, especially among male celebs.

Why is Chelios everywhere these days? Every game. Every social event. like jesus, wherever two people meet, chelios is there

Dude, he's Chelly. If I was Chelios, I'd be Chelly too. The banquet circle is highly underrated.

What was the shark story?

Bachelor party trip to Mexico. Bernstein of course a shark expert warned against eating it. Too late. Parkins said they ate it. How could he reel in a shark with all his back problems even if it's high tech fishing?

I was hoping it would involve Shedd. If he was in a fighting chair and it was small enough he could probably manage.

Dad had a truck leasing company and one of the terminals was in Compton so in the summer I washed tanker trucks. One time some idiot dumped a 10' blue shark in our dumpster.

Meat waddling to home is way more embarrassing than parkins throwing. And yet dolphin is right he looks way better than he did at one time.

I heard that part of tranny and it wasn’t all that involved.

Parkins suggested that while he may not know how to throw a baseball, he believes - without evidence - that he could outswim most people, to the point he’s confident that if he found himself in a pool full of sharks with 9 other people, he wouldn’t be the first eaten. Bernstein noted that made no sense and then dropped in a non-sequitur about Parkins’ fishing trip. It was riveting stuff.

Fucker can’t even mock a co-host anymore.

Did Parkins invite Bernstein to his bachelor party?

Talk about a buzz kill.

or was it just Bernstein hearing about it?

I bet Parkins and his crew would do things unacceptable to Bernstein.

Parkins said he swims well and made the shark comment. Bernstein noted sharks don’t factor swimming ability into their equations when calculating which prey to attack. Parkins - and I’m paraphrasing - said he’s a tiny little bitch so a shark wouldn’t be interested anyway. Bernstein agreed that Parkins is a little bitch.

Bernstein the noted Parkins caught a shark once. And something about mercury levels in blue sharks. Idk, I was drifting off by that point. Made for an interesting drive back from Home Depot.

Spiegel must weigh at least 325. At his age & height that would be class 3 severe obesity. And he's getting praise for how great he looks compared to his worst.

Parkins throws & runs like someone who's never participateed in sports ever. He implied he was coached up how to at least get the ball to home plate. He hinted his previous KC first pitches uncoached were Carl Lewis like.

In the last photo I saw of Spiegel, he was nowhere near 325 pounds. He lost a lot of weight.

I can't think of many skills as an adult that would less useful than being able to throw a ball well but not well enough to get paid lots of money to do it.

No offense to softball legend Elmhurst Steve.

I just saw it. That's not 300. He had to have been over 400 lbs before surgery.

You know it is completely ok to give the guy credit for progress. Anyone familiar with him and his work knows that he looks much better now than he did. Sure he has more work to do, but I am betting you are not prince charming yourself. So you don't always have to be a raging asshole.

I'll try not to be an asshole, but is there any coming back from that? Say you get back to 190 or whatever, isn't the skin sag and deformity of being a blimp from age 6 still make you equally unsightly?

You can get surgery for that though.

Christ, that was was a horrible throw. Horrible form.

I heard transition where he said, "I haven't played baseball since 6th grade.".

Fine. You should still know how to throw a ball. Last time I played organized baseball was 15. Never threw a ball until my nephews wanted to play catch with me in my 30s. I knew how to do it. I could still rip it. Good form.

It's fine that he can not properly throw a ball. That he throws like a girl (Sorry Julie, I guess that makes me sexist.) But don't tell me years of not doing it is the excuse. It's like riding a bike.

I liked Bernstein's comment to Parkins "have you ever thrown a ball in your life". It was the appropriate comment to a guy as young as Parkins. Then Parkins defense was I can play golf well. Well, I can't, I suck, but it cost money to play golf. You had that privellege as a teenager. Most don't. I didn't. Only played twice in my life. But throwing a baseball is cheap. And you can't do it.

I thought that too, but there are actually a fair percentage of girls who throw better than him. Nomination supported.
Plus his inability to deal with his broken down car without help was pretty lame.
