San Francisco hasn't gotten objectively worse--at least for this game?

Shanahan is already pressing the panic button because he has lost faith in his anointed starter at QB despite the fact that his team hasn't played a single game yet. Jimmy G will apparently be starting again as soon as the 49ers medical staff can figure out a way to sew his throwing arm back on to the rest of his body.

Because SF’s front 7 is so good I expect a lot of running and screens on offense for the Bears in hopes of slowing the pass rush. I don’t see Fields dropping back to pass much in this game -at least in the beginning. This could wind up being a trench fight type of low scoring game if the Bears defense can also answer the bell.


I actually feel this game is winnable due to some offensive limitations on the 9ers end with Lance.. but I still think San Fran is the better team and should be favored here.

definitely can be an upset game for the bears.

Getsy is going to find that 3rd and long doesn't work well when Fields is your QB and not Rodgers. He better start coming up with something better on 1st and 2nd downs.
