Took Two Post (7 y/o) and Three Post (5 y/o) to Ousel Falls (MT) on a hike today. The three of us spent two plus hours building a small and largely ineffectual dam on a part of the river.

Was incredible to be there in the moment collecting rocks and working on a “mission” with the younger Posts. Of all the guys on the work crew, nobody had a better time than Dad Post.

The Smokies game was quite a thing. Lots of Cubs gear. The starting pitcher was that kid they picked up from the Phillies, Ben Brown. He has no shot at being an MLB starting pitcher. His fastball is nice at 95/96, but he lacks any quality secondary pitches. He only lasted four innings and was in trouble each inning.

They flew the W and played Go Cubs Go. They had Chicago style food. There were banners for Bryant, Soler, Baez and Schwarber. Seats were $14, $5 parking, and $3 beer. Fun times.
