already a must win game next week

Pack lose that one and they could be 0-4 to start the season. Refs will be on notice about the need for a Packer win

They’ve added no showing on the 1st game of the season to their repertoire as well.

It all comes down to the self-evidently stupid decision to pass on giving Rodgers more skill position help and instead wasting a first round pick on a QB.

Even if they drafted a WR instead of Jordan Love he probably would have been a bust just like Christian Watson who looks terrible. Doubs already has supplanted him on the depth chart, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even dress for games once Lazard is back.

Rodgers looked and played like a 38 year old yesterday.

Maybe he needs to get high off of mushrooms before the game.

ah the craziness of the twitter world.

Every player in the history of the NFL could have a clip like that where they look like fools on one play.

I doubt they'll both play but at least it's moving in the right direction...

Offensive linemen David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins both practiced Wednesday. Linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder) and corner Keisan Nixon (shoulder) were also practicing during open portions and were full participants in Wednesday's practice. Offensive lineman Jon Runyan (concussion protocol) was held out of practice and was working with the rehab group. He was the only active player who did not practice.

If they can convert to WR and catch then I'd agree it's "moving in the right direction". If not then this means nothing.

Having an offensive line that gives Rodgers a bit more time might be helpful in my world, but sure. Lazard is also among those practicing fwiw.

what has Allen Lazard ever done in four years that makes people treat his presence as if it makes a difference

It's crazy he tore his ACL in December of 2020 and it's still not healed, what crackpot Ortho in Sheboygan did he use?

Rodgers is still a very good quarterback, but he's starting to look his age. He's not going to be able to survive the season if his offensive line continues to resemble a sieve.

I was noticing the same thing. He still has the vision of the field and accuracy, but he is showing his age.

I really believe this is his last year. He and Tom will retire the same year.

He can't. He would owe the Packers a lot of money if he did.

I don't believe that is true with the new contract, it basically is a series of 1 year contracts.

Like last time, I thought the Packers gave him a massive signing bonus.

The new contract that Rodgers and the Packers signed changes things significantly. The deal is officially viewed as a three-year. $150.815 million contract extension. That includes a reported incredible, fully-guaranteed, base salary of $59.5 million in 2023 and $49.3 million that is not guaranteed in 2024

I would read this is Rodgers has to play in 2023.

Yeah, I clearly thought something else was in there, that would be bad.

We said this before...ego-wise, there is zero chance Rodgers retires the same year as Brady and they have to go into the HOF together. Zero.

Only one SB for Rodgers. Put him in Canton during his second year of eligibility then. At least Favre got his team back to the big dance.

Anywho, back to 1-1 and on to Tampa. Good to see Jenkins back and knocking off the rust last night.
