Rodgers uses the Bears success as a way to distract from his poor playoff record so I have no doubt he'll play another great game and the Packers fans will eat it up.

There were a lot of receivers that were open last game because of shitty coverage by Vildor and Gordon. Lance repeatedly missed them. I seriously doubt Rodgers will. The pass rush is critical.

It's hard to believe that after using two second round picks on defensive backs, Vildoor still finds his way onto the field.

This is true. Its kind of like how Bears fans point at how many games Mitch won as a Bear, and then you find out a chunk of them were against the Lions. Rodgers own us the way the NFC Championship game owns him.

Also, agree on Vildor. He is absolutely brutal. Walt Harris II.

Right Bob, because teams that run base defenses, nickel and dime packages, only need two defensive backs.

The Bears play a predominantly zone coverage scheme now.

Just like when Lovie was here.

On Sunday, Vildor was starting with Gordon at nickel

Zone, man to man, 3-4, 4-3, 46, IDGAF. Vildor is equally terrible in all settings.

I said as much when the Bears cut Duke Shelley. He certainly isn't good either, but I'll take Shelley on the field 10 times out of 10 over Vildor.

Correct Bobbo. The two draftees were both playing.

They still need two more DB's to run a base package, three more DB's to run nickel, and FOUR more DB's to run a dime package.

Which is why Vildor still needs to play.

Shockingly enough, Bob has a legit point. To nobody's surprise, you're missing it. The Bears can put 7 DBs out there if they want. None of them "needs" to be Vildor. He sucks worse than you.

My hope, is that someone better than Vildor would be playing. Not sure why you can't grasp this.

There are only 24 positions in the NFL that can't use an upgrade Bob.

Now that you know that the two DB's drafted in Round 2 are playing, who would you like to see from the Bears roster play instead of Vildor?

Ideally, someone better than Kindle Vildor...if I made some flashcards would that help you understand?

Any one of these 10 players would be suitable; https://i.ibb.co/GpczFx2/77777.png

So you can't even provide a name of an actual current Bears player to replace him? So you are just bitching to be a bitch?

You need flashcards and a roster.

I made a single comment about my frustrations about seeing Vildor (who is terrible) on the field(and you decided to needle me about it, kinda making you look like an asshole), if we see something on the team that frustrates us, is it really a big deal about complaining? Kinda like you bitching about Roquan on Sunday.

So you won't name another Bears player to replace Vildor because... Vildor is the best that they currently have Bob.

And I said Smith looked lost. And his PFF grade agrees with me.

You said that he sucks.

Before he ever played a down.

Surely you see the difference.

Everyone except you and Saint Omni could see that Roquan was often out of position Sunday.

The 35yd run right before half is a perfect example of this.

Have you familiarized yourself with the other CB;s on the Bears roster yet?

Can you recommend someone else besides Vildor?

Time will tell Bob.

Are you still unable to identify someone currently available that would be better?

I don't if anyone on the roster is better, my original post was lamenting that despite an entire offseason, the Bears haven't been able to upgrade from Kindle Vildor(who, hint, is terrible)

I think that the Bears did upgrade Bob. They replaced half of their starting defensive backfield.

If Tavon Young was healthy, Gordon would be playing corner.

I think the Bears will have multiple chances to keep it close or even tie but just won’t get the plays or turnovers needed. Hope I’m wrong.

It's been a long time since we really have no idea who will win this rivalry game. Usually we hope we can win. This time we know we can, but will we....
