That was an absolute ass whipping and it came off the heels of 2 quarters of an ass whipping. The book was written by San Fran last year and now every DC worth a damn knows it. Stunt the middle of the line to death and play man. There was zero communication or plan for taking a defensive lineman other than the one line up against you. This team other than Adams isn't a hell of a lot different so its hard to understand how the same group of guys is absolute shit right now but they are. This reminds me of how the stale offense got its ass handed to them in McCarthy's final year. If you can't get a wr open then run a different fucking route already. Even the worst teams can get guys open occasionally. Almost all the catches today were contested.

The Jets are pretty nasty though. They aren't much on offense but they can bring it on D.

Maybe Aaron Rodgers' safety blanket really did matter.

Glad I missed it. I recorded the game and fully intended to watch it, but fortunately heard a bit of Wayne Larivee when we stopped at Woodmans and it quickly became evident that deleting without watching would be good for my health.

The Packers are not fine and will not be fine. Are you even watching their games? Rodgers is forced to throw to the ghost of Randall Cobb 10+ times because your front office botched the Adams free agency plus totally wasted the 2020 pick on Love. That was a draft in which you could have had Pittman or Higgins. Your last question is just proof that you actually don't watch the games at all and instead rubber stamp everything your dumbass front office does just like any good stooge would do: they lost to a team with no skill players outside of Barkley because you are no longer have credible pass catching weapons. And, yes, that most assuredly goes back to Adams. What you have is this mismatch of parts where your best offensive weapons are RBs but your coaching staff still places passing as the centerpiece of the offense. But that doesn't work anymore because your WRs are shit. See the problem? Probably not. You're probably going to hear a lot of talk about "run/pass balance" this week because LaFleur and his fanboys like you were too late to realize that Jones/Dillon are actually your bread and butter, not Rodgers and "the guy who is not as good as Adams now but is better than rookie Adams," as you so eloquently put it. Have fun seeing if they can figure it all out

The worst WRs in the NFL, as predicted by many here. Dillon is garbage, just a slow goal line back they keep wasting touches on outside the red zone. This team ain't shit, still win 10 games in this division and get waxed in game 1 of the playoffs.

Sure Adams isn't around to bail them out when everyone is covered or on broken plays but they have played fine without him before and they also showed this awful offense with him in the playoffs last year. It should not look this bad. There are 2 things in play her IMO....well probably 3.

1. Rodgers doesn't care about outside pressure that much because he just steps up in the pocket and does his thing. He hates inside pressure because he has to bail out instead of stepping up. Teams have been blowing the doors of the interior of the line. The jets caught them all day on assignment change breakdowns.

2. Rodgers can not do the RPO thing at the line anymore. It worked great at 1st as he wouldn't completely audible to his own play but I am pretty sure that teams know what he is going to try to do based on the look they give him. Every game he says "we got the look we wanted and just didn't execute" They know his deep ball has been shit this year and that they really don't have the speed to even have a deep threat. They are telling him what option to take and he is obliging every time. Their 2 minute drills and scripted openers work because he just goes with a single play call.

3. His accuracy has been very spotty. Its there sometimes and then its not there at all others.

They can patch it together and possibly fix it but having Cobb, Watson and Watkins all out for multiple weeks is killing an already challenged wr group. They also have to shitcan a whole lot of what they have been doing offensively and just run some stuff that works and build from there. No more RPO shit.

Again more deflection from you and bizarre fingerpointing at Rodgers of all people. They suck because their WRs suck. You mention missing Watson and I don't know why anyone in the world would say they miss a guy with seven targets in four games. He's irrelevant at this point. The deep ball is shit because you have a guy like Watson or Doubs on the receiving end of the ball, not because Rodgers is throwing the ball. Get a clue: lazard and Cobb have the most receptions because they know where to go and how to catch. On a good team lazard would be WR3 at best and Cobb would be handing out towels during play stoppages. This is what happens your front office fails to take advantage of having a HOF QB.

No, this is what happens when your franchise quarterback gets his 10th max contract extension. There is no money for safety blankets and he stops caring because he is going to retire in 18 months.

You've got to pay for excellence. The Rams bought the best team possible via trades and free agency for expensive players. The result was a Super Bowl. The Packers acquired something called Christian Watson so he could catch air on a perfect deep ball on the team's opening possession of the first game. Some debut. Pay for excellence.

Yeah getting back your 40 year old WR, your division 2 bust, and proverbial IR Watkins will change everything

You're funny

At least you will spank the Bears one last time in December.

All 3 phases of the team sucked yesterday and yes the quarterback was a major part of that also. I do not understand also why 33 doesn't get more touches.

Rogers, himself, doesn't look as good. He'll be 39 in December. It wouldn't be shocking if he were in slow decline

Tom Brady drinks 300 ounces of water a day in the offseason while Rodgers does drugs all offseason. We'll see which is the better choice.

Only because (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky showed up. Besides, Karen is a decade younger. He's not even a man yet.

Can you tell us why the great Quay Walker, consistently makes tackles 10 yards downfield.

He wants to be like Roquan?

"Roquan had 15 tackles today." Thirteen of the tackles were 6+ yards beyond the line of scrimmage.

What about the play where he completely over runs the play that allowed a 23 yard touch down run, he is quite the athlete but not sure he is completely understanding everything.

The lack of fundamentals from Georgia linebackers is really something.

They are all fast as hell though.

Walker was a huge reach on draft day, taken two rounds too early, I believe we discussed that in one of the draft threads. Packer fans didn't wanna hear it though.

The draft list I just looked at had him 45th overall.
