They should got him involved in 2020 so he could veto the dumbass move to draft a QB in round one when the team was just coming off a close loss in the NFC title game. Gutenkest basically conceded that mistake when he (allegedly) tried to send a second and fifth to Pitt for a WR he could have drafted instead of Love . He could have selected either Higgins, Claypool or Pittman. Instead he went with a guy who sat on a bench for three years.
