Where? Who was open..? Show me the screen shot.. I mean he avoided two sacks there and was hit almost immediately after that. Not much he could do there on that last play from what I saw

I thought he was going to take off running after he avoided the 2nd sack. But he pulled up again. He should have just took off and went for first down.

Maybe there will be a video on Twitter tomorrow showing if anyone was open. I doubt anyone was. He was under so much pressure though.

I do wish that ball to Claypool near the sideline was higher. Not sure why we were told we'd see more of Claypool and didn't. Some really good. Some bad. Better draft positioning to go after a top defensive lineman or offensive lineman in the 1st Round. Someone like Aidan Hutchinson.....who is a monster.

Too much down and distance combined with poor running lanes (from what I could see).. that and I’m sure Justin was gassed too.. I think that had to be a throw there, but guys gotta get open and the lines gotta hold up a bit more too..

Absolutely, Aaron is most likely a Hall of Fame QB who has owned the division for a long time. Last year he made his infamous comment about owning the Bears. I made a snarky comment reflecting the Packers end of division dominance. Are you now comparing Fields to Rodgers? Wow, you are football dumb. I want Fields to succeed and be used appropriate because that helps the aBears win. I couldn't care less what color he is, but there is a way for him to show success.

How much longer are we going to put up with this Tampa 2 garbage that doesn't work in today's NFL? Allan Williams has to go

Need a 3 Technique that knows what they're doing. Still don't have the right personnel up front to make it work.

The pass rush sucks? But the coverage? That backup Caucasian TE was wide open

Yes he could have done one more thing...throw. Don't end the game by taking a sack.

You're looking at one play. The front four had little push early. Goff had a lot of time on many play plays today where competent receivers were able to get open.

Evidently not the WR from the Steelers who we sold the farm for

Okay, you want him to take a sack. Noted.
Thanks.

The only thing noted here is that you don’t have an answer and you’re trying to deflect.

Who is he throwing the ball to, who was open..? You’re so sure he should have done something you yourself can’t explain with certainty.

I think he was too gassed to run successfully.. he broke two tackles as it was on that play and kept his eyes downfield

It's do or die, you only have two options. Throw and give a guy a chance on a 50/50 ball. Or run.

Fields is not the reason they lost. Destiny is the reason…

2023 draft will add a Scottie and Horace to Fields’ MJ.

And like RW said.. there might be some different screen shots available later that do show a receiver open.. but what I saw on TV there wasn’t much there and he was already under pressure..

The line has to block there too.. as for running, my best guess is he was too gassed to take off and didn’t seem to have clear running lanes as is (he was hit twice and broke both tackles only to get wrapped up really quickly again) he did what he could there imo.. avoided 2 sacks and kept his eyes downfield but got gobbled up by another defender.

Be patient. I don’t think they’re comfortable with him knowing the offense yet. It’s not going to happen over night. Pringle was finally available too, and I think they wanted looks from him as well
