NFL SUnday from Pinnacle Sports

Panthers +1 vs Buccanneers- I like what I see from the Panthers and the Buccanners are back to Garcia, I will take the Panthers.

Bears -3 vs Falcons- I am starting to like what I see from the Bears, even though the Falcons haven't lost at home and these have been Turner's best games, that was against the Chiefs and Lions, Bears are than both of them.

Packers +1 vs Seahawks As bad as the Seahakws, Pack don't get this one, they may be worse than people think.

Oakland + 7 @ Nawlins (greek)
NOBODY on this board in this thread (until Chus just now) has picked the Raiders this week. I do have a small play with the Saints in a basic strategy teaser, but I am also playing this one because I think the probability % makes it +EV. Saints are coming off a Monday night exhausting game in which they lost, which is a negative situation that often results in flat performances next time out. The Raiders have a new coach and are coming off the bye, which are both + situations that often result in strong efforts the next time out. That's a pretty powerful negative situation for Saints and a positive one for Raiders. And the line move reflects it. A lot of smart money got on the Raiders and pushed the line under 7 during the week. And now this morning, the Joe Public bettors are running to the window betting on the flashy offense and against the "bad" Raiders. In the week to week rhythms of the NFL, this is the kind of situation that repeats itself from time to time year after year. It may turn out that the Raiders are too bad to even capitalize on this positive situational spot, but assuming both teams will play to recent form is a huge assumption. But Joe Public Square Bettor doesn't pay attention to situations. He wants the flashy offense and thinks they will always perform the way he saw them play in the last game. Not moi. In an NFL game matching a flashy but possibly flat offense against a pile of shit.....give me the pile of shit plus seven.

From Oddsmaker or SBG

Under 43.5 Chi/Atl

Bears have gone under twice with a push in their 3 road games. Atlanta O looked good their first 2 home games but those were against Detroit and KC. Looks like a 20-17 game to me.

Under 38.5 Bal/Ind

Bal D pretty good, Indy O still struggling. Rookie QB for Bal keeps this one under.

Cincy +9.5 over Nyj

Dog has covered 12 of last 14 Cincy games. Jets last game was a blowout here against AZ. Should be much closer today.

Minny -13 over Detroit

Minny at 2-3 can't let this one slip away. Learned my lesson with Detroit last week.

Tampa Pk over Carolina

Series history says Carolina but Tampa at home seems to be the way to go. Line movement in Tampa favor also. Tampa opened as a 3pt fav.

NYJ -9.5, Favre runs up the score big time in this one

Oakland +7, definite trap game for the Saints, Oakland's defense keeps this close and it is an ugly nail biter

Detroit +13, Minnesota wins, but with their pass defense I don't think they are capable of blowing anyone out.

Dallas -4.5, intriguing game, I think Kurt Warner will turn into "Turnover" Warner starting this week

Bears -3, Atlanta hasn't faced a good run defense...until this week.

Indy -3.5, The old Indy shows up today, offense gets going and they win by two TDs

New England +4.5, Cassel controls the ball and BB comes up with a winning game plan utilizing numerous weapons

Miami +3, Houston will be deflated after choking it away last week, Ronnie Brown will be able to run on the Houston D

Seattle -1, as bad as they were last week, they have a way of going back to the PAC NW and playing good football

Jacksonville +3.5, Jacksonville wins this one by a field goal controlling the ball on the ground with the two headed running monsters.

I see a lot of good bettors on the Jets today, but damn, the betting is so unbalanced on that game, it's ringing alarm bells for me.

Oddsmaker or SBG

Under 53 Dal/Az

Opened at 48. Lookin for Arizona D to play one of their better games of the year.

Over 48 Jax/Den

Denver went under last week for the 1st time. Back to the overs this week. 3 straight Jax games have gone over.

Over 41.5 Phil/Sf

Philly O should put up the pts against SF. Philly D not as good on the road.

There have been worse QBs who have started an occasional game in the NFL, but JT O'Sullivan is the most inept regular starting QB I can ever recall. Niners had this game won until he crapped his pants in the 4th quarter. Is he really better than Alex Smith? Not hardly. Keeping him as the starting QB says a lot for the ineptitude of Nolan and Martz.

That last interception really did it. I think he has about 5 in the last two games.

A lot of teams had crappy last minute loses like that today (Bears with the bad special teams play, Cowboys with the blocked punt, Niners with the late interception.

Monday from Pinnacle Sports

Giants -9 vs Browns- If the Giants stick to a gameplan and don't let the Browns stay in, they can dominate this game.

Giants and Browns over 43.5- I see the Browns not stopping the Giants much, but I see the Browns scoring some points since it has been a while since they have been on Monday night.

Georgia (-12) over Tennessee PUSH
The Volunteers struggled at home against NIU last week. Georgia will be looking to make a statement at home.

Missouri (-14) over Oklahoma State LOSS
I'm on the Tigers bandwagon until someone throws me off. - Damn, getting thrown of the wagon sure does hurt.

Oklahoma (-6) over Texas LOSS
The Sooners will look to show everyone that they are indeed the Number 1 team in the nation.

Michigan (-16) over Toledo LOSS
The Wolverines look for redemption at home and get back on the winning track in a big way.

Chicago (-3) over Atlanta LOSS
I usually don't bet on the Bears, but I think they win big over the rookie-led Falcons.

NY Jets (-7) over Cincinnati WIN :D
Without Carson Palmer, the Bengals have no chance. Favre has another big day.

Ouch. 1-1-4. I think it's time for a bye week  .

Saints -6
The Saints offensive attack will be too much for the Raiders offense to keep up with. Saints win by more than 2 touchdowns.

Colts -4
Peyton should have the rust knocked off now. Look for him to be patient and carve up the great Ravens defense. That should open up some running room for Addai who will go for over 100 yards. Colts win by more than a touchdown.

Packers +1

The Seahawks offense is battered and bruised and their defense has been as dominant as you would expect. That trend will continue this week. Packers will win big

Lions +13

The Lions defense has shown up since they played the Bears last season. Their biggest problem is their secondary. The Vikings passing offense will fix that. Vikings win a close game.

Miami +3

The Dolphins will pound the ball down the Texans throat and the Texans offense will continue their Jekyll and Hyde ways. Dolphins win a close one.

Nice job, Nas.
