Many guys weren't consistent in college but became solid pros as they matured. Josh Allen and his inconsistency springs immediately to mind. And that was from watching a number of his games at Wyoming. I sincerely doubt that the overwhelming majority of NFL front office types know wtf they're evaluating with much credibility.
