Quite a bit of the modern rap music is either autotuned or is just a bunch of mumbling around noticeable samples of old school R&B/Rock songs. Always seemed that rap is a bunch of young kids chasing women and country is the older dude that has the woman, kids, rent, and is trying to figure out how to keep all of it afloat.

Lizzo said that Hip Hop is dominant, but if you look at the types of music people actually pay to see you find the highest grossing tours are old school rock, pop, or country acts, much of the YouTube and tiktok crap the kids like has a very short shelf life, people with actual talent still rise up Irregardless of the genre.

Do find the whole Lizzo big girl thing interesting, see it happening on the local TV news here, guess the producer at Fox News better get a more robust catching couch.

Yeah, most modern rap sucks. You can still easily convert a rap song into a country track and vice versa. They share the same elementary rhyme patterns and similar story telling.
