In the past few years Jason Bonham has drummed with the Zep boys, and UFO, and Foreigner, and AC/DC - is he still with them - where is he now?

Page and Jones want to tour. Plant, for whatever reason, does not. Page and Jones are ready so much so that they have said they will give Robert til the end of the year, and if he still doesn't come around they will make 2009 Zeppelin Tour plans without him.

Jason Bonham would be the drummer.

I'd be afraid too, what with what a tour can do to stress your already declining vocal ability...he's probably concerned about the night to night grind on his voice box...

 He's on tour with some bluegrass chick right now. And they tuned down a quite a few numbers in order to accomodate Plant's voice. Try again.

wait...so you agree with me...he's afraid to tour cause his voice is not up to par...the fact that they're tuning down the songs proves my point, that his voice is shot...

 Can you read?

They are tuning down to accomodate his voice. Very few singers can sing at the same level at age 60 than they did at age 20. And he is on tour RIGHT FUCKING NOW so if he were that worried about his voice, he wouldn't be on tour as we speak.

either you're not reading me or you don't understand. His voice is nowhere near what it was. Therefore perhaps he's afraid to tour because he won't be able to perform LIKE HE USED TO. He won't. Either they'll have to tune down the songs or he'll sound awful. We agree...and as far as sounding like one used to, up until a few years ago Roger sounded pretty much note for note like he did when he started with the Who. Some guys maintain...really Robert's voice hasn't been the same since the accident.

Guys.... please. You really don't want Plant to tour with Zep. The O 2 concert at times is so bad vocally that you feel sorry for him. He's sucking and cracking and that's WITH the 1.5 step downtune.
