I have been sidelined for nearly a year and a half. I needed to for more reasons than I can ever explain in some silly post. I’m about to catch y’all up over the next few days in an honest, forthright…maybe even, uncomfortable way. Not the stuff of social media likes and all that sweet cream. We all have our journey and there’s just as much ugly as pretty.

Holy smokes….I am telling you, there was a point where I never thought I was even making it home from the dang hospital. But here I am. Blessed to be back to work part time in just two weeks. Blessed to be alive. Blessed with a second chance. Not just with a smile from here to you know where…but to return with renewed purpose, faith, understanding, and drive to lift others out of their own dark places. Thank you for all the love and support you have shown me and our family. I plan to pay it forward through both the stories of every little person out there who is doing good in the world and by lifting the spirits of any person struggling; ready to throw in the towel. SE Wisconsin forecast showing snow starting late morning Thursday up until Friday night or early Saturday. Calling for 4-8 inches right now but with the wind blowing there's really no telling how it will shake out. We've been pretty fortunate the past number of holidays so guess it was due to happen. Don't mind the snow so much but 35 mph + winds will wreak havoc on trying to clear the driveway of snow. Glad I don't really have plans to go anywhere this weekend.

My concern level is between a 2 and 55.
